The initial outburst of the situation was more than fair and he should've expected it, especially from Andy. Dramatic and a little over the top, but perfectly coded to them. They went on to say more, words falling from their mouth at million miles per minute. One moment they're talking about it being attempted murder and getting Goldstein involved, but then the next they were saying they weren't shocked. Surprised, but not shocked. That... sure, okay. That could make sense, but he didn't think they were that obvious about it. He knew they had flirted and teased each other, bickered like a married couple.. but to be seen that blandly? He wrinkled his nose wanting to grumble that Andy was wrong, but didn't get the chance with the way they mentioned the hashtag derived from his and Staci's name. He knew of it. They both did. Hell, Staci had joked that hashtag stason is real after they laid there catching their breath post sex. Still, his nose stayed wrinkled until he was certain Andy was looking at him. Calming his expression greatly and flicking his gaze to them then back to the road.
i just want her to be happy.
He felt his brow furrow a little at the way they teased him about being the reason Staci could be happy, but he knows it's only teasing. Especially when they mention running him over with their car should he fail to keep Staci happy-- not that he doubted the running over part. Just the way all of it was being said and that Andy really did think Hudson could keep her happy. They were good for each other... right? Yeah, of course. They made sense from an inside and outside perspective. Fans thought they would do well together and so did their friends... or well, at least Andy who now knew. They (he and Staci) also thought they'd do well.
"I plan on making sure she's happy, don't worry," he finally murmured out only to be teased at again. The cap of the unopened water bottle tapping his shoulder and getting him to look at it. He glanced quick before bringing his eyes back to the road, rolling them slightly and giving a small laugh, "Ha ha, very funny." He had to bite his tongue from saying something incriminating to him and Staci, instead releasing the hold to sigh out, "I'd rather a short drink of water in the form of your sister, but that'll have to wait till later."
