Patrick Henry, known for his fiery oratory and famed words “Give me Liberty, or give me Death!” left a small envelope sealed with wax near his last will. Inside was a single sheet of paper on which he had copied his Resolutions against the Stamp Act. On the back, Patrick Henry left this message...

“Whether America's independence will prove a Blessing or a Curse, will depend on the Use our people make of the Blessings which a gracious God hath bestowed on us. If they are wise, they will be great and happy. If they are of a contrary Character, they will be miserable. Righteousness alone can exalt them as a Nation. Mr Henry would be greatly dismayed to see the direction that so many in his precious home state have taken. Now, the government is removing the rights of its citizens, and its citizens are gladly yielding those rights.

I am strongly in favor of being required to show my ID to any government agency to vote. Heck, I support fingerprint identification for voting! I get really pissed at the idea of someone voting in my name!!

A decade or so back, Georgia decided standing timber was real property. Suddenly, that land that was due to be turned into lumber in 10 years was going to lose money by then. Almost every timber grower harvested almost every acre. The wood went into paper instead. Lumber prices went through the roof, and haven't come back down. This whole concept has got to stop!
