In other news of my life, got out of hospital approximately 36 hours before my job interview that I’ve been waiting on since July (thanks lockdown)

Don’t know how I went, got so nervous and was still feeling pretty unwell. Talked a lot and fast, can’t remember most of what I said - likely gibberish.

Should find out in the next few days if all my dreams are coming true, or nah

Might bake a cake tomorrow and decide later if it’s a congratulations or commiserations cake!

Either way, I’ll have cake!

Of course the first song I had to try to learn is THE song!

I picked up a guitar for the first time about 3 weeks ago, with no tuition other than my Dad showing me some chords and telling me to practice practice practice!

So this is about as bad as you would expect…

I wanted to post this so I could hopefully look back in times to come and see how far I have progressed.

So it’s my birthday today.

My boyfriend of 8 years, and I, live together.

We’re currently in lockdown and so no party or gathering etc. My sister organised a Zoom and trivia night with my parents and siblings and their plus ones. Closest thing to a birthday party I was having.

To start with, my boyfriend was outside cooking me my birthday dinner. But then he finished, brought me a bowl, and then walked away. Refused to say hi to any of my family, partake in trivia or anything.

So essentially, my boyfriend didn’t come to my birthday party, in our own house.
