Well the Drugs Don’t Work Anymore
And I’ve exhaled until my lugs Were ragged from the cold My lips chap from lack of need To soften them for someone else
Anymore
I've yet to forget the words to this song, and it echoes in the now empty spaces of my mind. Yeah you fucked me up, and I haven't been sober nearly long enough to find the time. I would relapse and forget the man I was if I could be the guy who knew how to make everything fine. But instead I'll find a different drug...and forget what was surely never mine.
Playing with words.
"Hemorrhaging life This heartbeat of mine dims with each passing night I'm broken and I need mending but I feel like the last one alive And if I can't escape the confines of my mind I'll be dead by daylight."
- Apollo Poetry
"Grounded by an air of complacence In awe and wonder, we look to the sky And ask ourselves in that instance "How did we fall before we aspired to fly?"
- Apollo Poetry
But when like minds truly collide, its a sight to see. And the whole world saw when you said "hello" to me
-Her Horizon
Your inevitable silence is my wine One I'll sip so I'll believe that I'm fine
- Apollo Poetry
I have loved and lost So I am sorry For the way my nails scratched your skin As you pulled away for what had to be a moment As I was afraid it would be eternity.
That Empty Vase
And there were valleys
Where rivers ran free
Through the clay of her cheeks
Just so that she
May be called beautiful
For the way she handles her suffering
I used to wait for the stars to die Pray for love before the sun would rise But try as I might No matter who spent the night These mirrors always showed A lonely girl Her cheeks had valleys Where tears stained river-bends into her skin Almost as deep as the tip of her knife As she carves life out of her limbs Just so she can see it and believe it Because when she wished for love She didn’t make the cut Out of all the hands who held hers Something was mising And it wasn’t that they weren’t enough They just weren’t her... She didn’t love herself. And she never would.
Just so you know, I’m Ganondorf irl. What, you thought no poetry would blossom from the darkness of my circumstance? Heh.
Nostalgiphilia
If memories held life Then I have plucked the light From every single moment Their spirits echoing In the corridors of my chaos Bringing me peace Reminding me that I Too Shine
Timeless
I search for life in nostalgia, but those moments mean everything only to me. The "man" who failed at history.
“And you flicker because of my breath A dance for made for my eyes to see Twas my flame that sparked life in your chest So how is it that you managed to burn me?”
“And I just want to be okay Maybe someday, but not today”
My thoughts Like gremlins you shouldn’t feed after midnight But they’ve learned how to open to fridge And even turn on the kitchen light... They’re well fed and I’m just never “alright”
