some good news to share: I was awarded the NSF GRFP! this is a very prestigious federal fellowship and will fund my PhD for 3 years so I can work on my own research and not have to RA or TA for 3 years. yayyyy planetary science!

Yesterday I walked this very sidewalk on George Street, watching the FBI comb through the lobby I am in every day and where students ran for their life from a masked gunman on Saturday. I wish we could go back to B&H being the annoying old engineering building with elevators that stopped working every time you held the door open for too long, and not the site of a mass shooting. Rest in peace Ella and MukhammadAziz 🤎
