the category is main characters who die way too early in the story, yet their ghosts haunt every page… it’s just so fascinating to me. at a certain point they go from being individuals to being symbols for half of the characters to revile, the other half to revere. they do not appear physically on paper, yet they are everywhere. hate them, love them you cannot escape them. their memory shapes the story. and you are just left to wonder what could have been maybe even what should have been if one small thing had gone differently, which makes their death all the more painful for its finality. a most excellent trope if you ask me

life lately... reading constantly, train rides, buying books (so. many. books.), packing up, moving, meeting cute cats along the way

i graduated university a little over a month ago now and i can’t believe how quickly these past five years have gone by, i’m already feeling nostalgic. but since then i got a *real* job which i’m so so so excited about and moved halfway across the world so i guess you could say all that studying actually paid off huh ? ✨

sweet sweet summertime is coming to an end. here are some random glimpses of my summer vacation in turkey. also, i might have forgotten to post about some major life changes lol. surprise surprise… i just started my masters!! i’m still on my never ending vacation but since almost all of my classes are online i started the new semester from my improvised desk here. it’s almost time to go back to germany and i’m super exited to get back into a routine! more uni posts coming soon✨
