And then they start dating Coil too. So its their first time hanging out as a trio. Skate and Boom wanna hit some of that weed but first they ask Coil if he's okay with it or if he wants them to go outside. And hes just like "Sure, do whatever just don't distract me"
So you have Boom and Skate on both sides of Coil, just smoking some, while Coil is content tinkering with his new inventions. Maybe while wearing some type of ventilation mask he stole from subspace lol.

I find it rather intriguing that Nishi-先生 made it so that, canonically, the netherworld doesn't care for gender roles or, what we would call, gender norms in their society. Demons dont bat an eye at queer people and relationships.
You know its bad when a world full of demons, who eat humans, are more accepting and open minded than humans.
Anyways, to those who are out and those who aren't. To those who know what they are, and those who are still figuring it out. To those who are proud of who they are and those who might still be hiding.

Demons in Mairuma do have an additional sex indicator that humans lack; their tails. As a general rule, female demons have little hearts at the end of their tails and male ones have a sharper sorta arrowhead shape.
Lied has his tail out on display at all times, even while crossdressing as Lindy. In the evidol arc, he participates in an event called tail-wrestling. This event literally FOCUSES ON THE TAIL. So this cute new evidol is basically out here, on live tv, in front of a huge crowd waving a great big giant flag that says "TRANS" and no one bats an eye. Not one comment from the audience, the commentators, the other contestants - Nothing! Lindy reads as trans and people do. not. care. She even gets the cool guy evidols number in the end. How cool is that?!

Been thinking about how inheriting Bloodline abilities work. We've been shown how demons can reproduce asexually, so obviously their offspring would have their Bloodline ability.
But what about demons who find a partner? When you marry into another clan, do you get their Bloodline ability, retain your own or get to choose? Because we've been shown that both of Soi's parents have detection warding, even though, for obvious reasons, they do not have an incestuous relationship.
Can one have parents with different Bloodline abilities? Does the child get automatically assigned one before theyre even born or do they get to choose once theyre older.
Additionally, how do 'advanced' versions of a bloodline ability work, does one acquire that through training or are you born with it and simply have to unlock it through improving your magic?
This is an interesting topic that id like to see Nishi先生 talk about (*´-`)
Talked about how RTO demons are written, now I wanna say how Poro is basically the epitome of what we are told modern demons are like.
Sociable, sure, but selfish and unapologetic about doing whatever it takes to achieve their desires.
Like how he was willing to drop everything and join Baal the moment he heard it would bring Delkira back.
You could say its evil of him to join the antagonists when he'd just been having so much fun watching the misfits perform, but is that not in a demon's nature?
We've grown too accustomed to demons being somewhat kind, because the main cast that gravitates around Iruma is influenced by him. But we've also gotten too used to it being black and white, with whos the 'bad' guys and the 'good' guys.
So, Poro, or should I say, Poroちゃん is a nice breath of fresh air to add to the stale dynamics.
First of all, I love evil cycle Clara and im gonna need a chapter where all three of them are in their evil cycle at the same time...
Anyways, I love how nishi先生 wrote the solution to pulling Clara out of her evil cycle (*つ▽`)っ
Its rather ingenious, first she shows how Iruma trying wouldn't work. He'd pull the "We love you no matter what" spiel, and that just fuels evil cycle Clara, to trap them, even more.
She shows how him being kind and understanding, as he always is, just doesnt work in this scenario.
And then she shows how Azz's way does. How his bickering and 'negative' comments on his perception of her are actually the thing that pulls her out.
It provokes Clara, and causes her to question if Azz even truly loves her like he loves Iruma.
If Iruma left, would Azz leave her too? Would she be all alone again? It prompts a question and feeling that ive been wandering about since they declared themselves the Love Trio.
Its an absolutely genius way to address their dynamic as the Love Trio.
She shows how Iruma's tendency to be empathetic and soft does not work here, whilst Azz's tendency to be rough and blunt does.
Its only because of Azz's bickering that Clara asks this question, then Iruma and Azz are able to answer it; showing Evil Cycle Clara that they dont mean to harm Clara by leaving her alone, in turn pushing her to let Clara regain control of her conciousness
Nishi先生's writing never ceases to amaze me, and this arc nearly made me tear up ( T∀T)
Overall, i love how she built up their dynamic overtime, just to pop the cap off the bottle in this volume, allowing her to address the overspilling contents within.
Just thinking how its so interesting that Nishi 先生 chose to write demons who've returned to origins not as war machines, but as master manipulators
They can be, and are, calculating and cold, like we've already seen with Baal and Kiriwo. They've also been shown to still show positive emotions, albeit in more of an obsessively creepy way.
Like Kiriwo being overjoyed at seeing Iruma or Atori being happy when Baal tells him that Shiida did not truly betray them.
Theyre not some poor villains with a sad backstory, they're true antagonists who wish to see the netherworld descend into chaos and to stand above it all
Which is rather unique compared to other villains we usually see depicted in media. Demons that have returned to origin are never going to be redeemed, they know what theyre doing and they enjoy doing it.
I also love how, despite them being villains, they're still characters and thus have some chapters where we just get to see them casually. [ My favourite is that few panels of Poro commenting on how disgusting their "sounds" are :3 ]
Just goes to show how you can write pure evil characters and still have people like them, so people shouldn't be so afraid of writing irredeemable villains ( v^-゜)♪
Being a support main in phighting is lowkey such a pain in the ass
Medkit: Your teammates decide to dive the enemies and stay there, 1v4ing while spamming "i need healing"
And then they yell at you in chat when they die 💔
Or youre being targeted by the enemy Shuri and none of your teammates come to your help, but still continue spamming that they need healing
Vinestaff: Same as Med, youre getting targeted by the enemy Shuri and your teammates are blind to your suffering.
Or they're spamming "I need healing" but they've decided to run away from the ten thousand sprouts you've placed on the ground and your Q is on cooldown
Subspace: You ult, get 4 enemies trapped in it. And your teammates are either off frolicking in the field or focusing on the enemy tank whose health bar is still at full
Boombox: No comment. He can be played as a melee/diver, so he relies less on his teammates in that sense
Coil: I dont play coil out of fear of being absolutely demolished if I even attempted to try him out ！Σ(×_×;)!
Conclusion: Can you truly, as a support, turn the tides of the battle when all your teammates are incompetent?
Of course, this isnt an attack, just venting my frustrations lol
Doesn't help that Opens have serious matchmaking issues. Tell me why I, a level 97, am going up against someone who's level 300+
