This pile is the opposite of the previous pile. If Pile 1 has a lighthearted energy, this pile is… all-or-nothing energy. This person has gone through a lot. Maybe they have issues with their family, or their family dynamics have shaped them into who they are today. The family or people he grew up with may have been unstable, which may have driven him to work hard on his own to achieve the stability and security he yearns for. This person does not like waiting. As I flipped the cards and synthesize it for the bigger picture, I immediately thought of a chapter ending or the words “ending” and “losing hope” came to my mind. 10 of swords signifies betrayal, or in some interpretations, a chapter ending or losses. The star is about having hopes, but it came out reversed together with the 2 of wands. With this, I can see your connection as being stagnant or not moving at the moment, and maybe you or this person is already losing your hopes for this connection. Also, the star in reverse may symbolize lost of sparks. You may be losing your feelings already but grasping to that tiny hope since you may be waiting or wishing for something to happen even though the connection is already not progressing at the moment. I have some Pisces placements (like my Mercury) and a Cancer Moon in the 12th house. One time I lied to a friend that I thought I had COVID and was going to get tested, just to get out of going to an event. Literally two days later, I actually got sick and had to get tested for real!
