we are so excited to finally get you guys onto our discord! please be sure to sign in with your pronouns and post in the #member-intros channel as soon as possible in order to get your first face. otherwise, it’s so nice to meet you all!
next, we are thrilled to show you guys our first preview – the full release of our setting pages! while these are relatively in depth, we plan on building the site as it lives and breathes, especially in the case of crescent peak. meaning locations, lore, and history will all evolve with the growth of the site. if you have any ideas, we want to hear them and implement them! please use our current guides as a backdrop for your characters and a way to envision how they develop. we hope you love what we came up with!

short update!
hi friends!
a quick update - we will be opening our site buzz on november 29th! right now, our date for opening is set for december 5th, which should not change but we want to keep it tentative due to the holiday season and the state of, well, everything! our actual buzz will take place EXCLUSIVELY on discord, but we will post updates to the tumblr for full visibility, as well as updating any reserves on the list (faces will be reserved through discord, however.)
we have updated the tumblr with about information and a page with some brief info on setting. tonight, we will also be updating with an FAQ. stay tuned for more updates!

we wanted to give a small update about the direction of the site and when we’ll be opening buzz, for those who have been following since our staff search. taking into consideration both thanksgiving and COVID, our goal is to open by the end of november/beginning of december. while we do not have an exact date in mind, we will be providing you guys with weekly updates until buzz opens.
to be fully transparent, we wanted to give a picture of where we’re at. right now, the skin is nearly complete and we have begun work on our site content and are making good progress. we’ve pinned down our site goals, expectations, and mission as well as our setting! we still have work to do on templates and a tiny bit of writing left when it comes to site lore and content, but not so much that our goal for opening is at all challenged.
if you’d like to read a bit more about us, we’ve updated our about page here on tumblr with a bit of information about what we want to be. in the coming weeks, we’ll be adding more information, as well as eventually opening up our discord and starting our site buzz period. in the meantime, if you have any questions at all, you are welcome to contact cloud nine#5480 on discord! we will be checking this periodically throughout the day to ensure your questions are answered.

hi friends! we just wanted to post a quick announcement stating that we are officially closing the staff search - we will be contacting those who we are adding to staff shortly! if you are NOT contacted, please know that we first and foremost appreciate every single applicant and loved all of your answers! we had a difficult time choosing - and ton of applicants to choose from. if there is a need for staff down the line, you are all in consideration as long as you’d like to be. :) thank you all!
hi everyone! a quick update on the staff search for you: we’re planning to begin taking new staff members on tonight at an indeterminate time. if you don’t hear back by tomorrow morning, it doesn’t mean you’re out of the running, though - just putting this out there so you can keep an eye out.
also, we don’t have a time we intend to close the search, it’ll remain open until we feel comfortable with the size of our team. so please, keep sending in applications until we announce we're closed!
as for anyone who is just interested in being a member on the site - we don't have a projected opening date for buzz yet and will figure that out once we have our full staff on board. we have some concrete ideas that are being worked on (the location guide, for instance), a wealth of plans we’d like our new staff to give input on before we finalize them and about half of the skin finished. we also plan for the buzz to take place completely on discord, with this tumblr serving as an information hub.
