Why Agender?: I do not identify as masc, fem, fluid etc. I do not align with any binary or fluidity or gender at all. I consider myself complete androgynous and void of everything.

Why Xenogender?: Due to dissociation and mental health, I relate to and identify with xenogenders. I view my xenos as a way to describe and explain how I view my gender and myself. An endless void of some sort. Floating through everything and feeling out of place.

I am both Otherkin and Therian. My therian types are a wolf and a lion. My otherkin types are a Vampire and Siren. I have a Hellhound Coping/OtherLink. I am also Artic Wolf Otherhearted. I will provide basic definitions for all of these things mentioned.

I am a suntherian regarding my wolf kin.

What is a Therian?: Individuals who identify as an animal or non human.

What is a Otherkin?: Individuals who identify as non human beings? Beings that aren't dogs or cats etc. Example: Vampire or Werewolf.

What is a Coping/Other Link?: Individuals that form a bond or connection with something as a form of coping mechanism.

What is Otherhearted? Individuals who have a deep connection to a non human being.

What is a SunTherian?: A Therian that experiences a strong connection to a kintype and the kintype has become integrated into their personality.

Things I Experience: Species Dysphoria, Mental Shifts, Phantom Shifts, Persception Shifts, Dream Shifts, and Sensory Shifts.

The siren in me feels drawn to inappropriate thoughts sometimes. Being Siren kin is a bit of a curse sometimes. The mental shifts and emotional shifts can make my brain go spiraling.

Siren mythology is my kind of getting tangled up with others, having someone be drawn to us, being drawn to others as well, etc. The instincts of a Siren sometimes creeps its way into my mind.

The ocean calls to me sometimes. Lately, I've been wondering if maybe I am a coastal wolf or there's something about the sea that draws me in like a moth to a flame. It's always been this way all my life and I want to venture forth into it now.

My Pride Flags and their definitions~

Agender- someone who doesn’t identify with any gender.

Cloudgender- This term combines the concepts of xenogender and neurogender, suggesting that someone's gender identity is tied to the feeling of clouds, and this feeling is perhaps influenced by neurological experiences.

A neurogender is a gender identity that is influenced by neurological experiences like depersonalization or derealization, where a person feels detached from themselves or their surroundings.

Spacegender- A Gender Identity connected to the stars, planets, universe, etc.

Moongender- is a xenogender identity in which one's gender is related/connected to the moon.

Seaspacic- Gender relating and combining both sea and space.

Asexual Panromantic- An Asexual Individual that can experience romantic attraction to anyone.

Sex Indifferent- Someone who is neutral regarding sexual intimacy. They have no preference or strong feelings about it and could take it or leave it.

Apathromantic- Someone who is apathetic and neutral regarding romantic attraction. They have no preference and can experience it but are fine if they don’t as well.

Ambiamory- someone who can be both monogamous and polyamorous. They go with whatever the relationship needs and have no problem with doing either.

Caged Gender Definition: someone whose gender feels like it is being suffocated, a person struggling to breathe, and feeling trapped within a cage like a rib cage. This Neurogender is due to Anxiety.

What does being a part of the Therian and a few other communities mean for me?

•Being a Therian and Otherkin is part of who I am, how I identify, and my life experience.

•Being a Therian and Otherkin has to do with my brain and how it works. It is how my brain sees myself and how it understands the world around me.

•Being Otherhearted is how I formed a connection to an animal beyond a “normal” connection.

•Being Otherhearted means I recognize something in this animal. I have a strong bond with it. I don’t identify as it but with it. I see things I value in this animal.

•Having Coping Link means it helps me with my trauma.

•Having a Coping Link means I have something to cheer me up. I have something to appreciate. I have something important to me that helps me through hard times.

{Being Lion Therian}

One of my theriotypes is a White Lion. It is part of who I am and how I identify. The shifts I experience from it are mental shifts, phantom shifts, and sensory shifts. My lion side is protective of those I consider my pride. My lion side can be untamed and want to hunt. My lion side reflects in self confidence and integrates somewhat into my personality at times.

Some information about White African Lions:

“White lions are not technically albino; they are leucistic, meaning they lack pigmentation due to a recessive gene. This results in their white fur and often blue or pale eyes. They are native to the Timbavati and Kruger National Park regions of South Africa.”

Their eyes and paw pads are normally pigmented, and they can have various eye colors, including blue, green, or gold. The leucistic trait is caused by a recessive gene that affects melanin production.

White lions are symbols of leadership, pride, and royalty in some African countries. Some African tribes consider them sacred animals and believe they bring prosperity and protection.

Some cool Lion Facts:

Lions sleep around 16-20 hours a day. They are known to be lazy. They are awake and hunting during dusk. A Lion’s roar can be heard 8 kilometers away. They can also snarl, growl, grunt, and meow. They consume about 40 kg of meat within a single meal.

>My OtherHearted KinType<

What is Otherhearted and how is it different from other kintypes such as Therian and Otherkin?

Therians and Otherkin identify as their kintypes. OtherHearted’s definition via the Otherkin Wiki is “A person who has a strong fundamental connection to a species or character which impacts their core sense of self. This is most commonly described in terms of identifying with a being as opposed to identifying as one.”

My Otherhearted Kin is an Artic Fox. Artic Foxes live on both land and sea ice at the Artic Circle. Their coat not only keeps them warm but also helps them blend into the snow and ice to avoid predators. They have many skills they’ve developed for survival such as secret dens, slowing their metabolism to save energy, and being scavengers for food.

The reason I connect with this animal is due to its capabilities and survival instincts. I've had to fight for survival before. I find Artic Foxes are a great example of adjusting to your environment and learning how to protect yourself.

̶M̶̶y̶ ̶S̶̶i̶̶r̶̶e̶̶n̶ ̶K̶̶i̶̶n̶̶T̶̶y̶̶p̶̶e̶

One of my Otherkin Identities is Siren. In this post I will be going over some of the history of Sirens and also discuss my own Identity as a Siren.

SIRENS orginates from Greek Mythology. They are technically sea nymphs and have been mentioned in books, folklore, and texts like The Odessey. Originally, Sirens are beautiful bird-like beings that lived by the sea. They lured sailors to their deaths via their Siren songs. Some say that they are beautiful and others say they are more Bird-like if anything. Many artistic interpretations have happened through the centuries due to this.

According to the Greeks, Sirens were originally maidens of Persephone. Once Persephone was taken by Hades, Demeter (the mother of Persephone) changed the maidens form into these new creatures with wings to help find and look for Persephone.

Over the years the interpretations of Sirens changed from wings to a darker version of a mermaid. Sirens became a symbol for sexual desire and beauty. They could manipulate humans and took Sailors. Many Sailors found themselves enchanted by them similar to Mermaids.

For me personally, I identify as the original Greek Version of Sirens instead of the cousin of the mermaids version we have today. As a SirenKin I experience mental shifts involuntarily, emotional shifts, and Phantom shifts regarding my wings. During Mshifts, I sometimes end up feeling and thinking in a seductive way. Majority of the time my mindset entirely changes.

My name is Eden and I wanted to discuss Coping/Other Links and mine specifically. A Coping/OtherLink is different due to it being a voluntary identity. Its a link and connection to something as a coping mechanism. Unlike my theriotypes which aren't a voluntary part of who I am, Coping Links are.

According to Otherkin.Wiki “Some may choose to do so to cope with trauma, particularly aspects related to identity confusion or dissociation which may occur after trauma, dysphoria, or mental illness.”

In a way it is similar to Otherhearted via the fact it is a connection to something. However, it is different from Otherhearted because it is to cope. It is identifying as/with something to cope with your mental health. A Coping Link is actually a form of an Otherlink. Otherlink is a general term in the sense of meaning a voluntary identity. Coping Link is part of that but it's a voluntary identity for mental health.

For some people an OtherLink or coping link can actually develop into a real identity such as Otherkin. This is not everyone but it can happen.

My Coping Link is a HellHound. The reason I connect to it is due to trauma and viewing myself as a hellish being due to the trauma I’ve endured. A Hellhound is both Demonic in nature and is also a canine. Due to being also CanineKin (technically) I found the combination to be the thing I connect with.

𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝙸 𝚅𝚒𝚎𝚠 𝙼𝚢𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝙰𝚜 𝙰 𝚆𝚘𝚕𝚏~

These photos are the closest I can get to describing how I personally ~feel~ I would look like as a wolf. One of my Therian types is a wolf and I am a Suntherian when it comes to this specific type as it is the one I experience shifts and occurrences with the most. My wolf kin part of me is integrated into my personality at times.

Perception Shifts: Seeing/Perceiving things differently and related to my theriotype.
