Getting a perfect score on Catcher Chocobo FFX is officially on my list of video game achievements I’m very proud of.
The only other two things on my list are defeating KH1 and KH2 Sephiroth on Proud Mode, which are probably not considered achievements to people anymore but they are to me. 😭💖
Quick Edit: oh and the Omega fight in FF15. That was such an ass fight, but I did it!
After a decade of mediocre or just shitty birthdays (shitty Junes in general), this year was actually very wonderful. It was fun, I felt pretty, I only had a little bit of anxiety, ate great food, Knicks won, and I found a dollar. :-)
God I miss E3 so much. Videogame announcement conferences are just not enjoyable anymore. 😔 We’re conditioned to be prepared for the disappointment that always comes.

Playing FFX for the first time and I absolutely hate the gameplay. The gameplay is horrific and clunky and unfair and miserable.
But my love for Yuna negates it all. I will continue my pilgrimage of suffering just so I can watch Yuna succeed. She is such a good character with a great design, and they made her the most OP character?? My beloved darling girl, I love you.
Playing Final Fantasy for the first time after decades of being a Kingdom Hearts fan has been an absolute joy. It’s so fun getting to see these characters in their original stories, and seeing how/what pieces of their original story they chose to bring into KH.
Current favorite is how they have Auron in KH2. It was the funniest choice they could have made, it works perfectly, and he’s just so cool, man. 13 year old me loved him in KH2, 32 year old me loves him in FFX.
I also cannot stop saying “the A on his shoulder stands for Auron”
