the deltarune fandom loves to demonize susie for living in castle town because "it's escapism" but tbh i think a lot of them don't realize that sometimes escaping is not only a good thing but necessary for your survival. the game goes out of its way to demonstrate that the dark world is a real place where things have the same amount of gravity as they do in the light world (berdly getting his arm broken/getting snowgraved, the titan fight having a real effect on the church, everyone remembers all of the events in the exact same way,) and so i think it's better read as an allegory for leaving your abusive home for a friend's house in another town than it is "those damn kids like their iphones and video games too much" or "spooky evil hallucinations because hallucinations are spooky and evil you guys"

I made my post into something a little more visually appealing! Behold my wonders; I eyeballed about 98% of this. The two things I got information from the official reference for was the shoelace detail and the back sheathe (provided to me by a friend after asking). Everything else took me almost a week and ~6 hours of hunting. I also personally took all the movie screencaps you see on the board.

What the hell is Alphys's deal in Deltarune. No-one talks about it despite how insanely suspicious she is and on par with Sans on how out of place she is compared to the residents in hometown.

Did we just forget she also just recently moved there like Sans. Did we forget that Undyne doesn't know her but Alphys knows who you're talking about immediately. Did we forget that despite her JUST MOVING THERE she admits that there's something evil within the bunker? THE FACT SHE'S ASSOCIATED WITH **CATS**. HOW OUR FIRST REAL LOOK AT FRIEND IN CHAPTER 3 RESEMBLES AS AMALGAMATE/ENDOGENY. HOW SHE'S THE ONE WHO KICKSTARTS THE STORY BY SENDING KRIS AND SUSIE INTO THE CLOSET FOR CHALK THAT WASN'T EVEN IN THERE. HOW'S SHE'S MENTIONED IN ONE OF NOELLE'S BLOG POSTS THAT SHE CREATED A SYMPTOMS MOD FOR CATPETTERZ.

I also just remembered how despite her never having gone to church, she has a hyper-specific juice combination she likes..
