This is the last Blue Sky Studios film released on VHS and it is one of the only two films from the studio to be released on the format, the other being Ice Age.

Among the bonus features on the DVD include an exclusive short film, audio commentary, deleted scenes, an Xbox playable demo of the Robots video game, and more.

in my mind i have invented a beautiful alternate universe where bluesky made "robots the animated series". which wouldve been a shitty 2d animated cartoon that no one watched but somehow had like 100 episodes. and in the early seasons ratchet is a generic villain that shows up very rarely in some quest to avenge his mom or something but by the end of season 3 he gets fixed/taken in by bigweld and has the start of a redemption arc (that never gets finished before the show gets abruptly cancelled) ok do you guys see my vision

i dont think rodney would like this development. they could have a fun rivalry
