Some questions for the resident humans.
Gender transition is broadly socially acceptable and medically supported in Jovia, though political attitudes on it vary. The common conservative attitude is that there are three genders: male, unisex, and female; and the only legitimate goal of gender transition is complete surgical sex reassignment. Working reproductive organs can be grown with an individual's DNA, and the most normative way to transition is "match" your sex organs with your chosen gender. Obviously it gets more complicated than that in practice, though, because not everyone is interested in "matching," nor can everyone who transitions take on the risk of major abdominal surgery. There is also an overall perception that the older you are when you decide to transition (or god forbid if you transition more than once) the more undignified it is, and the more inconvenient it is for the other people in your life. So Gillie had a very normative transgender experience for Jovian culture, except for her surgery aversion; while Mel had a very normative medical transition but had to deal with a lot more social friction.
Because of that L-bend it's more safe for Gillie to stick a swab in her ears than it is for you. She can't stab herself directly in the eardrum.
Idrisah has way more books than the average Jovian because she's a history nerd who is interested in stationary and manual writing, relatively niche hobbies.

it's the final day again for ammar's injection and my hopes are, bluntly, extremely slim.
we didn't even manage to raise the money for his immune globulin injection last week, and we are now, on top of that, about $1k in debt to the doctor for the iv fluids he had to take for that.
that has to be paid for in conjunction with his urgent digoxin injection, which he will die without, which means the minimum amount we have to raise by tuesday 4 pm gaza time is $2,129.
i am really not feeling optimistic, because we had to urgently evacuate the family last week from israel's active bombing and no one cared enough to contribute almost any donation at all, even as small as $5 - only a small handful of people chipped in.
if we don't get this money before the end of tuesday, ammar will need over $6k, as it will include an intensive injection on top of everything we already have to pay
and i know we're not going to get that, so really what will happen is he will die
i don't know what i can say to convince you to help keep him alive, but i beg you not to let israel successfully kill him

we have passed the deadline for when ammar was able to tolerate not having the immune globulin injection without requiring medical assistance.
as we have not been able to raise enough funds to pay back our debt for the iv fluids, the hospital is refusing to allow us to borrow any more medicine, so we need this injection as soon as possible. we are two hours after the deadline.

A VOW YOU SAY…….
Ok I miiiiiight be wrong but it seems like pacts can only take control when talking about promises? Talking about promises SPECIFICALLY to Max? Whenever he refuses to make a promise they either show up or make themself known… Pantomime says they can’t enforce a promise (that’s rules) but can learn when it’s broken… so like if RJ breaks the promise they made to Johnny. would it do anything? maybe trigger a spirt trance/possession??

it was international jazz day and all you guys listened to was a single album??
not even close to joking when i say that everyone going "meeeee :3" in the notes needs to ask themselves why they're so much more willing to listen to jazz that isn't made by black artists
If you like Casiopea, check out some classic jazz funk fusion albums like Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock or Return to Forever by Chick Corea.
If you like the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, check out some later period big band albums like Mingus Ah Um by Charles Mingus and The Roar of '84 by Buddy Rich.
If you like the Persona soundtrack, check out some more modern jazz fusion albums with electronic elements like Black Focus by Yussef Kamaal or Freedom Fables by Nubiyan Twist.
