Immediate Regret

Have you ever watched a scene from a movie or TV show and immediately regretted it. Like you just know it will haunt your memory for a while and you will never be able to forget it. Like it is bound to be stored in the file of memories that just when you thought you'd moved on and forgotten about, something brings it back up and horrifies you forever?

The opening scene from Midsommer just did that for me. I do not think I will be able to get that image out of my head for a while.

yesterday I turned a year older which means that I am now an age my older cousin never got to reach. I tried not to think about it and put the thought off thinking I had another year but no, this is the year. she passed away on my birthday 6 years ago now and it never gets easier.
