خاموش دعا"

سردیوں کی ایک ٹھنڈی شام تھی۔

وہ باہر تھا، تھکا ہوا، پریشان، دل بوجھل۔

فون آیا، ماں کی آواز تھی:

"بس یوں ہی دل گھبرا رہا تھا، سوچا تمہیں دعا دے دوں۔"

کال بند ہوئی — مگر دل ہلکا ہو گیا۔

ماں کی دعاؤں میں کوئی مخصوص وقت نہیں ہوتا،

وہ ہر گھڑی پہرہ دیتی ہیں۔

"Silent Prayer"

It was a cold winter evening.

He was out, exhausted, restless, his heart weighed down.

A call came in — it was his mother.

“I don’t know why, but my heart was uneasy,” she said.

“So I whispered a little prayer for you.”

The call ended.

But somehow, the weight lifted.

Because a mother’s prayers never wait for the right time —

they're always watching, always whispering.
