I’m a 20 year old woman, bed bound with a complex neurological condition and at risk of homelessness. For months at a time, I’m stuck in my room, and I’m completely unable to lift my head off the bed. My current weekly rent is $490, which is about $290 more than what I can afford with just my ~$200/week social security income. I’ve had difficulty accessing government disability services. They take a long time to process, and despite having been unwell for 3 years, until ~2 months ago, I didn’t have a doctor who was able to report on my condition.
Additionally, I have no accommodation from mid-December onwards, and it’s particularly difficult to find temporary accommodation during the holiday season, so any donations would widen my range of options

Earlier this week there was a pretty serious harassment campaign against me based on misconstruing things I said. If you’re angry at me for that, I’ve addressed it as a separate issue. To ignore this post and say I deserve poverty and death simply because of stuff I supposedly said would be violent ableism.
