This is a comic about caddisflies and anxiety.

I learned so much about caddisflies! They are very cool! Some of them build protective cases out of debris and silk (obligatory shout-out to Hubert Duprat), and some of them use their silk to rappel from underwater anchors, using water currents to travel.

Also fly fishers were very helpful in my caddisfly learning quest because of their attention to detail in the pursuit of making the most appetizing and realistic caddisfly larvae lures. Who knew!

Another old comic! I painted one panel every day for a month; it was pretty much all improvised. (I think sometimes I'd make one panel and go "ooh, the next one should be *this*" but I didn't have a script or anything.)

Turned it into this ridiculous accordian zine that I definitely need to post pictures of... My best party trick at a show is taking one and flipping it so all the guts fall out.

The paint is from my days working the sandwich zone in an art store. I'd save up all my tips from a shift and then buy, like, one marker.

A hostile, magical building makes an average pizza delivery go off the rails.

I drew this a while back and hadn't looked at it in so long that I kind of forgot what happened? So it was fun to go back and read it again!

I painted this thinking about my sweet rat, Lavender ♡

She was very special to me and got me through a lot of tough times! For fun she would stick her entire nose into my nostril and sniff real hard.

Here's a sketchbook page for today - this is from when I was finishing up Nightfall. The sketch of Meen and Pik in the middle is an early version of what's on the last page of that zine.

That was when I learned a pagination method that isn't just "make a tiny book, write the numbers on it, and take it apart." wow!

Touchdown Pizza!

I dreamed this recipe and had to record it for the world. So far, no one's been brave enough to make their own Pizza Log (or at least they haven't told me about it). It's basically if you took a pizza, scraped the top off, and rolled it up. Like a hot, steamy, greasy cheese log studded with pepperoni.

meet the bugs~ Here's another little zine - this one is one of my favorites! It's kind of like a companion zine to all the little bug comics. I'd love to make another full-color collage zine like this sometime.
