Another piece I did for Persona Nocte, this one is Clovis’ All-Out Attack portrait!  It was a ton of fun, looking up references and figuring out how to shade with black~

More confidant portraits, these ones for Persona Nocte!  In order, they are Clovis Chevalier, Natsuki Kimura, Paulie Wuzhengfu, Desiderio Bolton, and Agnos le Maudit.  I had a lot of fun making these, and I’m especially proud of how Paulie turned out!

Desi and Agnos are edited versions of the FFXIV ones I posted earlier.  Desi didn’t need a whole lot of editing, but Agnos....whoof.

New blog title, new blog theme, new signature, new drawing!

Lately I’ve been really into this modernized fantasy AU I thought up that has every single supernatural being in existence crammed into it.  For the deities or beings who are tied to deities, their power is dependent on how much humans believe in them, so for example the Christian God and all his angels are very powerful.  But, as is Lucifer and all their demons.

Natsuki is a kitsune who acknowledges that modernization is a thing, but hasn’t really had a chance to interact with any of it.  His look is a bit outdated, but that’s....mostly by choice, actually.

Ayy look at this guyyyy B) So basically for um....reasons, Alex has dressed up as THIS GUY in a Pokemon RP group I’m in :’)  What a nerd.  Didn’t know he had it in him.

Desi’s Ultimate Persona, Mnemosyne, as a Maestro in our PACsona MMO!  Her weapons are those floaty turntables, and in battle blades pop out of the sides and they become sawblades!  She can slice people with them if she needs to but why would she do that when she can magically wub enemies to death? 8D

I've been told that this is, perhaps, one of my best works so far.  A simple reference sheet, of Clovis' RWBY AU self.

Thank you again, Monty, your brainchild has helped me improve my skills so much.  I can't count the number of hours I spent on this drawing, trying to figure out the specifics of Clovis' outfit, his semblance, his weapons...coming up with headcanons of how he'd interact with his team, how he'd interact with anyone else, even what his family life was like.  I made countless RWBY stencils/symbols for people and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences/challenges I'd ever taken upon myself.  And I certainly can't count the number of hours I put into the forum.

I wish I could've met you and told you about the forum, Monty.  You might have cared, you might not have, but I just hope you know how much your series impacted people.  How much you impacted people.

To pull a line from 'I May Fall', "There's a moment that changes a life when/We do something that no one else can"  I think you got there a long time ago, Monty.  I think you got there.
