01 SEP 2017;
Closing off the day with a cup of tea, banana bread & all the books I read during the first six months of the year. On track to read 20 books this year! đŞđť"A Little Life" is my favorite so far..â¨Hauntingly beautiful.
got bath water you can soak in.
From here:Â https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/five-similarities-between-writing-and-falling-down-47-flights-of-stairs
This is true, coming from someone who is a writer and also fell down some stairs not too long ago.
Itâs all true.
It is a very cool, moody morning here in the PNW. Iâm grateful for the weather change, to sip my hot coffee, and to catch up on a little reading before starting the day. Because you guys, I need to find my camera charger asap! Howâs your morning or afternoon going? #theardentbiblioreads
âWherever they might be they always remember that the past was a lie, that memory has no return, that every spring gone by could never be recovered, and that the wildest and most tenacious love was an ephemeral truth in the end.â -Gabriel Garcia Marquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude
That feeling when youâre reading a book and maybe itâs a love scene, or maybe itâs a character learning something about him or herself, or maybe itâs something that youâve always thought but never knew anyone else thought or felt that way too, and your whole body grows warm and tingly and there are tears in your eyes⌠that. Thatâs why I read. To feel. To connect. To understand. To have my whole body warmed while I forget to breathe.
I will continue to call The Creature âFrankensteinâ and no force in Heaven or Earth will impede that.
