Internet is working a Little rn since all the neighbors at work, King Clownbot 3.0 Posting
First one was the full body I drew to put into the new pfp, second one was drawn later when my buddy was here and He had the idea to add the flower (A Clown Needs A Squirty Flower, he said and I Agree Wholeheartedly! but this one shoots you in the eye with a laser pointer. Name consideration: Pal 9000. Pal for short)
If fate and destiny had never prevented Ylah and Macrides from being in the mortal realm at the same time, theyād dress as Shrek and Fiona for Halloween
Macrides as Fiona and Ylah as shrek (they both wanted to be Fiona but Ylah gives in after like 30 minutes of arguing)
If Titusā childhood is framed as something between a fairy tale and a Saturday Morning Adventure cartoon, Ylahās was somewhere between a Showtune Ensemble Tap Dance and a YA romance novel.
Iāll try to word that better and explain at some point
Ok yeah I can word this better, Remove the āTapā, any Large Ensemble Showtune Dance number, I forgot about āOne (Reprise/Finale)ā from A Chorus Line

I think one of the things that really calls me to Ylah and Titusā dynamic is. Ylah sees the future, but always focuses on the wrong things. They think they know the path things are going down, think they have some control, but Titus is living proof that they Donāt.
They see this person they think heās going to grow up into, but when they Look at him they can see that things Arenāt playing out the way they think it will. Heās surprising, he catches them off guard frequently, just like someone else Ylah loved. And they barely realize that itās because of Them that heās someone so different from how he could have been, but when they Do they only see that as a Negative kind of thing, like they kept him from his destiny.
Titus does not see it that way. He does not want to be the person he was in those other realities that he hears so much about. He likes his life, he loves Ylah, loves his friends, has a Home and a Community he feels truly safe and nurtured in. Why would he want that other reality, where heās alone and cold and abandoned and furious? Why does That have to be the ārightā path?
Free will, fate, destiny, all things they have Very different views on.

oh these two are BONKERS to think about. theyre more similar than they are different, especially in terms of temperament, and yet they still hate each other. their relationship would be irrecoverable
kais the cult leader of a dance troupe (its a sex cult obvs) and boy howdy is it bad all around. the cult is built around him and theres a lot of pressure to perform, both for an audience and for the other cult members. the whole cult is themed around fire, explosions, and death, because he was in a house fire when he was younger.
said house fire was caused by keerin when they were young and its one of the direct causes of their OCD. all of the stitching and accessories on their clothes comes from their compulsions. theyre luck obsessed, because it keeps them safe, and theyre both terrified and drawn to fire. the red and yellow in their outfit is to fool fire into thinking its already claimed them. they also go by rin in the role swap
Been thinking a lot about Ylah recently. So uh. Timeline where Ylah didnāt go against Fateās design to save Macrides, lets him die instead, instantly regrets it, then dedicates their life to filling the hole he left and getting the happy ending they dreamed of.

True Verse Ylah and Titus
āTrueā as in (in-world) this was the path that was Supposed to happen.
In the main verse story, Ylah goes against fate to save Macrides from a death at the claws of his father Korgrove, instead dying in his place. I had wrote and drawn some things about how Ylah post-death becomes a sort of lesser-god lower-management for the god of Fate, and sees all past versions of themself from that place. Each sees that future version of themself, and swears that they wonāt end up like that. But they All Do, something Ylah chalks up to Nature, and a lack of True Free Will.
So True Verse is like. What if one of them didnāt make the same choice? And had to live with the knowledge that theyāre some unhappy anomaly that didnāt save the person they loved? They feel guilty about that, so they try to keep him alive in any way they can; at first by filling the roles he was supposed to hold in the Mortal Realm, and then by deciding to find some way to Bring Him Back.
Titus is there too, taken in by Ylah as his new parental figure. Instead of being raised in the woods however, Ylah (a person much less accustomed to Roughing It than Macrides) lives and raises him in Society (note: still figuring out whether thatās in Pironbury or if Ylah would have migrated further)
Iām still figuring it all out but as you can probably tell Iām getting lots of inspiration for this; highlighted thoughts include:
Themes of missing someone you feel responsible for losing, parental figures whoās absence defines your childhood but still must be regarded well, found family, responsibility and duty, What Should vs What Is vs What Can
Twelve year old Titus beating up extraplanar beings with a baseball bat
Sundance is there. I havenāt talked about him much but I love hating him. When I introduced him to my dnd party the reaction was equal parts annoyance and bitter attraction.
