Hey! I changed my username from matherxtherock to clubxcspas so I thought I'd make a post re-introducing myself.
I was a dancer as a kid and now I just like to keep up on dance stuff. Some of my favorite studios to follow are club, cspas, mather, p21, impact, the rock, larkin, and nor cal.

Iâm actually curious what wouldâve happened if the alternative to claire winning wasnât another of Valeris gymnasts winning. Like I couldâve seen Valeri wanting a national title to his gym so bad that he risked it. Iâm just glad it didnât come to that.
And I also just want to be clear that I can understand why Claire would ask her coach to upgrade her vault when she saw what the scores looked like heading into the last rotation. Jade also asked her coach (aka her dad) to upgrade her floor, presumably to up her scores, but he said no. Like itâs not uncommon for gymnasts to want to do that at all. But thatâs why they have coaches who hopefully have their gymnastsâ best interests in mind and will not allow them to compete skills that they arenât ready for yet. Iâm just glad for whatever reason that Valeri didnât let her do it
Molly has also choreographed for everleigh labrant, madeline shen, sylvie win, etc. She doesnât do a ton of outside choreo for solos but itâs not unheard of for her to do that

Seriously. This conversation about Claire maybe doing a cheng to win is actually pissing me off, it is NOT worth it at this point. If she hasnât been training the cheng on comp floor throughout the week the injury risk is just way too high. Like there is no reason to do it she will make worlds selection camp regardless if she wins first or second here. And I think sheâd have to have a higher execution than Hezly to win, which is unlikely bc Claireâs vault is harder and she wasnât even planning to do it until like 3 minutes ago. I hope she doesnât do it, a national championship is not worth it

Currently watching night 2 of gymnastics nationals and it would be a shame not to use this moment to express how much I HATE valeri liukin his gymnasts deserve so much better
