ok quote aside, I'm back! after like 5-6 days, I'm back after being termed by being caught in the spam filters. I'm gonna have to cut down on the fast reblogs of fundraisers and fast reblogs in general just to play it safe, lest i anger the spam net again.

yeah so i asked my mom (who is not an entomologist.) about this alongside searching this up and

this is a male ant that fulfilled it's purpose in life of mating with a young queen ant during nupital flight and is, well, fucking dying as a result.

guy is born, lives a short ant life, matures, fucks a soon-to-be queen ant of her own colony and the just fucken dies. he saw, he came, he died.

i'll reblog this post every time i have something to mention about the process of writing the fanfic i'm working on, which i called "Metamorphosis", so here's a few things:

it's a kazukaoru fanfic. go figure.

i have written over 1,200 words for this fanfic during this day alone. it's currently at around 1,650 words right now.

I started at 2 AM, took a one hour break at 4 AM, Finished my first burst at 6:08 AM, rested a bit, went to school, came back, rested, started my second burst, had iftar and took a multi-hour long break and am currently about to have my third burst. it is 11 PM.

my eyes are feeling a bit sticky now, so it's probably time for some coffee or smt.

i'm still sick btw, just in the stage where everything feels all hunky dory except for my throat. not gonna stop me from writing this baby.

i don't know why macro shots are so mesmerizing to me

i got the photography kit for my phone yesterday and i have been using it a LOT.

and most of the photos i've taken since then where macro shots or portrait mode shots.

fyi i was reaaaallly close to buying a point-and-shoot camera from the early 2010s (likely a sony cybershot dsc-wx60) instead of the photography kit.

i certainly don't regret my current purchase.... but....

i could've gotten a friggin pocketable digicam.

oh well. i hope i'll have enough money to buy one... and enough luck to find like.... a cybershot hx90v.... an rx100 vii, etc. or maybe even something equivalent from any other company.
