Hello everyone~ good to be back on Tumblr.

I am a decade and a half late to this fandom, but I am now so very far into loving Transformers (and watching the Transformers One movie over and over) I have created myself FOUR OCs!

It’s been a learning curve and a new experience drawing mechs, but I’m loving their ideas so much it fuels me. Here’s a little thread about all of them and possible backstory blurbs about them so far.

This is Umbra, a Decepticon tank Gladiator who is still residing in Kaon a bit before the massive war on Cybertron. He was the first of the bots I fully designed with story in mind. He is currently paired up with my girlfriend’s character Fadeaway. Even though he looks and acts like a big brute longing for battle and shedding energon, he’s quite loyal and kind to those close to him. Also he’s got a face card that alone could kill.

Up next is Arex, a Medevac Helicopter bot who is also a sweet little Decepticon medic. He obviously doesn’t look or act the part of a con… he’s a walking cinnamon roll underneath all of that metal. He loves his job, is a little timid and zany and loves teasing his boss, Knockout.

This is Livewire. His design was much harder for me to draw and took me a couple attempts to finally love it. He’s an Autobot scout who’s a bit of a show off. Smug, suave and mild arrogance all rolled into one bot. He does however show great potential.

And last but certainly not least, Theremin! They are an ex Decepticon seeker who had worked under Soundwave. After a failed mission, Soundwave threw them under the bus, letting them take the fall. Literally… as Megatron ripped off one of their wings and tossed them from The Nemesis. Barely functioning and spark clinging to life, Theremin was discovered by Bumblebee who managed to communicate with them, bringing them back to the Autobots for help and healing. Theremin doesn’t speak- but sounds like a theremin making soft hums and ‘WhOooO’ sounds.
