my bother use to work at a deli, and he told me about a lady that kept making him recut the bologna because it wasn't cut thin enough, but the problem was the machine couldn't cut it any thinner. so they just kept going back and forth

"this isn't thin enough" "it doesn't get any thinner" "recut it anyway" "okay" "this isn't thin enough"

and apparently after 5 attempts she's was like "that's more like it" and moved on with her life.
