In this set, the needle through the cloud really caught my eye. Something as delicate as a cloud could be pierced by a needle so easily. I think this best portrays our sensitivity as human beings. We require certain nurture and respect.

In this set, I believe Madoz is trying to portray that our world has hidden objects creating a paradoxal image.

In this set, I believe Madoz is trying to portray that the world is not at a consistent balance. We as humans are creating our own environment, therefore making us deteriorate the natural balance of the Earth.

This set of pictures depicts a man and a woman. In my perspective the concept of these images are to display the minds of a man vs. a women. Women tend to result to alcohol whereas men tend to result to cigarettes/drugs.
