You know you are apart of something truly timeless when people are still dressing as Harry Potter and the characters in Jo’s world. I think it’s a true testament to the love that people have poured over into the characters they played and the world that it created. But seeing kids still with the black round glasses and the drawn on scar just warms my heart. This is how I felt when Battlefront II came out and everyone decided to dress up as Iden Versio, I felt so honored.  I can’t even imagine what it’s like for you especially with how big of a franchise Harry Potter was and still is! With Halloween next week and Christmas just around the corner,it makes me think about the funny mess that was 2019. I became the ambassador of a huge cosmetics company and,weirdly,I still don’t know how to put on makeup without looking like a blonde Pennywise. So many great things happened this year along with bad ones but the best thing that will ever happen this year is my Daenerys Targaryen costume for Halloween. What are you wearing for the magical and scary holiday that is Halloween?

Congratulations on being an ambassador! Or should I say badass-ador. I had to. But it’s kind of unreal that we’re almost towards the end of year. It’s been a whirlwind, but I hope everything’s been okay, Amanda! I haven’t really thought of what I’m going to wear, I keep thinking I have a few weeks but it’s next week. Moms are really good at filling us up with food and hoping it cures everything. Yeah, if my mom had a place here she’d always be here too. Maybe I’ll make her a little tiny house in the backyard and our moms can become friends. I’m doing alright, thanks. It was pretty difficult, but I had to do what was best for both of us at the end of the day. You should try it sometime, if you’re looking for a quick sugar high. Granny Smiths and skor dip are heaven, don’t get me wrong, I still have all that stuff too. I basically bought the whole damn market. But hey, at least know I know the way to your heart. I don’t know if a bubble will be enough.

Oh man, I’ve been obsessed with the Tiny House Netflix show so that’d be pretty cool. Would you let your mom join the Tiny House Movement? Maybe we can just wrap you in endless bubble wrap, Jen. It might be a thing we may have to do just to make sure you’re okay.

I’ve been in Kentucky for the past few weeks just hanging out with my mom and getting my head right. Apparently calling off an engagement makes your brain fuzzy. Who knew. Anyway, she took me to this farm to go apple picking or whatever, because you know, moms. And I found this marshmallow covered in fucking caramel sauce. Like just one of those perfect sized s’mores marshmallows covered in caramel. Needless to say, I bought the whole damn jar and I’ve only been eating those since I’ve ben at my house. Who needs help unpacking when I’ve got my sugar high to keep me going? But seriously, someone might want to come supervise, make sure I don’t fall down any stairs, or just take the candy away from me.

Ah, nothing says thanks mom than a sugar high. Okay, I’m kidding but I totally get the mom thing because mine has a place in town and she’s always here. I hope you’re doing okay after the engagement. I bet it wasn’t that easy, I doubt anything like that ever is. I don’d think I’ve ever had caramel and marshmallows and it sounds great but granny smiths with skor dip, and girl, I’m in heaven. I’ll make sure to get you a bubble, though.

I feel you on that. The newer ones are a lot more intense than the old ones so I can see where you’re coming from. Plus, who doesn’t love a good classic like Halloween? Misery though, I can never get through without freaking out. I didn’t know there was a new Child’s Play, let alone with Aubrey in it! Was it good? I bet it was amazing. Kinda jealous you got to meet him. Harrison Ford’s not too bad looking either.

Misery is INTENSE. I read the book first and the movie just creeped me out but it’s a classic and I love it. Kathy Bates is a Queen. But she is! It was all sorts of amazing but I’m probably biased as she’s my best friend and I adore everything she’s in. Who is that one person you absolutely love that you NEED to me, Dove? Have you gotten to that yet? Has it happened?

It’s quite terrifying, isn’t it? Hold out seeing it as long as you possibly can. I think once you see it, you’ll really like it though. You kind of realize it’s all fake and it’ll seem funny about being afraid to see it, you know? Halloween makes a lot more sense to go watch it, since it is a scary movie and stuff. I always get confused, he’s the one from Star Wars, right? Is he nice? He seems really nice.

I’m so on/off with horror/thrillers. I can watch old horror movies no problem, like Misery or Halloween but when something new comes out? No thanks. Like Aubrey was in Child’s Play and she literally made me watch it three times in theatres when it was out. Yes, Star Wars! He’s the sweetest guy. Harrison Ford, too.

I finally stopped being a big baby and went to see IT the other night and I’m just gonna say it, James Mcavoy in that movie had me feeling some type of way, lemme tell you. Now that I’ve thoroughly embarrassed myself I feel it’s only fair to know everyone else’s crushes. So, let’s hear ‘em. I promise not to judge.

I’m still a big baby and probably won’t watch it until I’m forced to or guilt-tripped into seeing it. I need to, though. I have to support those in our little town! Maybe closer to Halloween. Mark Hamill is a big one for me, I met him once and I was completely starstruck for days. And a lot of Bollywood actors... I blame my mother for that one.

I woke up about three thirty yesterday and I had the most random thought in the world I basically went like this: Huh if Dianna ever leaves me it’ll probably be for another woman. You’re the best and I love you. I’m starting to feel better than I did so that’s something. With everything going on, I totally forgot to celebrate a year of the store being open. So, this means we have to get drunk or something. Good! I never want to see his stupid handsome face at breakfast again. I might puke. I’m gonna try and start looking for a place of my own again. It might take a while but I think it’s a step in the right direction.

I bet I love you more than you love me. I can’t believe you’ve been open for a year. I’m so proud of you, you know that? You deserve all the best things. Maybe we should go out clubbing, we may be old but at the same time I feel like we can live our best lives at a club. I haven’t been in one in forever. Do people still go clubbing?
