me and camilo have been best friends like 11 years prior to dating. saying 'i love you' sort of became the norm for us at around 8 years old? i was the one who initiated it to be honest- i told him i love him for the first time and he looked at me shocked, then disgusted, then confused, then sort of just, processing it JNSJSDNJ it took him a few weeks to begin saying it back. though when we started dating, it was a little off. we hadn't said 'i love you' like that yet, maybe because i was a little nervous? but he said it first and it felt so.. natural. which was really relieving to me kinda- idk it made me feel like nothing has changed between us in our bond and friendship it was just really soft
