That wretched golden collar clattered to the ground, and the Prince of Kiliac smiled broadly before holding my hand to lead me down the hall.
We left my collar on the stone cold floor.
"You honour me father." The Prince proclaimed, raising his goblin salute. "To the Maker - the god of fine women and good ale!" His steadfast voice cut through the tomfoolery, causing liquor to fly as the men all cheered louder still.
Through all the raucous jeering and dick-measuring along the table, no one noticed the Prince release an exasperated sigh, slumping down into his chair. Looking all the while as if he too, thought this was some kind of elaborate, horrible dream.
Screw him.
I was the daughter of dreams and dread.
Temporary cover created with BookBrush.com - A Daughter of Dreams and Dread is available for a new round of BETA reading. How terrifying, yet exciting! This is the year.

I screamed.
I was not supposed to scream.
But I did not ever imagine pain to be like this. Never this.
- A Daughter of Dreams and Dread 🌑
Here comes the journey! For three long years I have been writing and editing and writing some more. The time has come to share my work, far and wide, and it is exciting and terrifying all at once. Though in the end, Estelle's adventure is one that I want others to know. I want them to know this story, and so it is time.
I’d always longed for such an adventure. Some sort of escapist fantasy realm. Perhaps, I lusted for it too hard and got my wish. Maybe I dreamed too hard when floating beneath that endless blue sky. I wanted something different… something more. But not this.
I let myself dream of something different. Something more.
