WHEN DID YOU JOIN AND HOW?  ummmm..... i think i joined in 2010? I was in eighth grade and a friend i knew was part of a disney rp group on tumblr. i had written on aim and facebook before, but had never tried tumblr. 

HOW OLD WERE YOU WENT YOU STARTED AND HOW OLD ARE YOU NOW? i was 13 i think? and now i’m 23. so it’s been a whole ass decade since i started writing on tumblr. i’m shook. 

MEMORABLE URLS.  ummmmmmm...... strongmoralprinciple was my second john url that i still have. i’m pretty proud of that. cansprainpeople was his first solo url and i also really enjoyed that one. i had rebelpilot for a poe url and i was shook when it was actually available... 

FANDOMS.   my big fandoms have been harry potter, star wars, star trek, marvel, and sherlock. 

FAVOURITE MUSE.   YIKES. probably a mixture between poe dameron, john watson, and christine palmer. 

LEAST FAVOURITE MUSE.   i haven’t really had any muses that i hated tbh???? 

FAVOURITE IC EXPERIENCE.  i’ve had so many amazing ic experiences on this site??? there’s not one that sticks out in my mind but that’s just because they were all so great. 

LEAST FAVOURITE IC EXPERIENCE.   sometimes people change, muses evolve, and what we were once okay with writing changes. i’m not going to elaborate anymore than that but i will never feel sorry for stopping a plot because i’m uncomfortable about what’s actually going on. 

FAVOURITE OOC EXPERIENCE. i mean my literal best friend in the galaxy was brought to me because of this hellsite. i’m sitting in her living room right now typing this out because i’m blessed enough to have a husband that will drive hundreds of miles so we can see each other. she was the made of honor in my wedding this summer. we’ve had so many adventures. and our next one is going to be london 2020. 

LEAST FAVOURITE OOC EXPERIENCE. i don’t really want to talk about old drama because i’m still a lil affected by it and it’s not something i feel comfortable hashing out because these people are actually still involved in a community here? so let’s just leave it at that. 

WOULD YOU DO IT ALL AGAIN.   yes because it brought me to a different love of writing and some amazing friends. i stopped feeling lonely and weird for loving this stuff.

poe  rolled  his  eyes,  moving  in  to  press  a  kiss  against  the  corners  of  her  lips.  “  that’s  not  true.  you’ve  always  been  this  beautiful.  i  have  nothing  to  do  with  it.  “  it  had  become  a  habit  to  expect  nesota  waiting  for  him  when  he  got  back  to  their  apartments.  it  was  nice,  being  able  to  pull  her  into  his  embrace  &  tell  her  of  all  he  was  doing.  he  was  excited  to  be  bringing  a  positive  change  to  the  world  finally.  there  was  so  much  fighting.  still,  even  after  destroying  the  emperor’s  fleet,  there  were  so  many  factions  that  were  fighting  for  power.  crime  syndicates  that  tried  to  rise  above  the  resistance,  take  their  place  at  the  top  of  the  galaxy.  it  had  exhausted  him.  he  was  sick  of  fighting.  

“  you  wouldn’t  be  ruining  anything,  nesota.  “  he  looked  at  her  pointedly,  raising  his  eyebrows  so  she  knew  that  he  wasn’t  pulling  her  leg.  “  you  know  we  could  leave  tomorrow  if  you  wanted.  there  are  plenty  of  capable  people  on  yavin  that  could  take  my  place.  we  could  travel,  get  a  small  ship.  just  tell  me  what  will  make  you  happy.  i  don’t  want  you  to  be  miserable  here.  “  it  worried  him  that  she  hardly  left  their  home,  even  more  than  it  made  him  happy  that  she  was  waiting  for  him  when  he  was  home.  

“  am  i  going  to  overstep  if  i  tell  you  that  maybe  you  should  try  to  make  some  friends  tonight  ??  “  he  didn’t  want  to  tell  nesota  how  to  live  her  life,  not  when  he  had  uprooted  everything  for  them  to  be  here.  but  he  could  feel  the  change  he  could  make,  the  things  leia  would  have  wanted  to  do.

“  buddy  ??  “  a  worried  tone  leaks  through  his  voice.  he  had  always  worn  his  heart  on  his  sleeve.  “  you  with  me  ??  “  a  steadying  hand  on  finn’s  bicep  as  poe  watched  the  change  happening  on  his  face.  “  it’s  just  a  blaster  burn.  we’re  good.  “  echoing  the  younger  man’s  own  sentiments  back  at  him,  poe  contourted  his  face  dramatically  at  his  next  words, pointedly  running  a  hand  through  his  hair.  “  that’s  not  funny.  “

It’s not that he doesn’t want Poe to help him…at least, Finn doesn’t think so. He’s just so used to watching over everyone (even in the days where that compassion got him punished), and they can’t waste Bacta on something as minor as a blaster burn. Not when supplies are so low. He squeezes Poe’s hand, remembering how it felt to have that extra reassurance && desperately wanted to give that comfort back. Somehow. But he knows that won’t be enough for Poe, so Finn locks eyes with his friend.  ❝ It’s not that I don’t want you to help me. It’s just not…necessary. I’ve always been a fast healer for some reason. ❞ He rolls up his sleeve with his free hand and sure enough, the graze is pink with healing skin. ❝ See? I’m fine. ❞

poe’s  eyes  widen  as  he  searches  the  place  on  finn’s  arm  for  where  the  burn  should  be.  he  can  see  a  pink  mark,  an  obvious  sign  of  a  healing  blaster  burn,  but  it  hadn’t  been  that  long  ago.  it  wasn’t  the  angry  red  that  the  pilot  knew  came  with  the  territory.  “  i........  wow.  “  he  didn’t  have  the  words  in  that  moment,  though  an  i’m  sorry  almost  slipped  from  his  lips.  he  wouldn’t  apologize  for  being  worried  about  finn  though.  “  i  guess  the  stormtrooper  was  farther  away  than  i  thought.  “  he  cleared  his  throat,  meeting  finn’s  gaze.  “  i  just  worry  about  you  guys.  “

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐘 in the blink of an eye. Still Rey cannot believe that it happened; that she had found someone that she could truly connect with and feel at home around. Poe has become someone the young woman refuses to ever miss again. Oh, how funny feelings and emotions were. Their lives were chaotic, their job demanded the constant echo of danger and destruct but also law and order; two opposites so much like them. And then she stirs, waking from the slumber into am embrace of warmth and happiness.❝ — Hm, no. Maybe I just wanted to be awake with you. ❝ Her words are cheesy; almost something that Rey would have never caught herself saying in a more awake state of sorts but for once she does not care and just lets her feelings do the talking. Every minute mattered.

poe  couldn’t  help  the  sleepy  grin  that  lit  up  his  features.  automatically  he’s  shifting  closer  to  her,  pressing  a  quick  kiss  against  her  hair.  “  that  was  cheesy.  “  it’s  muttered  close  to  her,  eyes  shutting  as  he  allows  himself  to  breathe  this  all  in.  she’s  here,  in  his  apartment,  saying  such  sweet  things.  he  feels  like  he  might  burst  from  all  the  happiness  he’s  emitting  right  now.  she  looks  so  beautiful,  even  with  her  hair  mused,  sticking  up  in  different  directions.  he  couldn’t  believe  how  lucky  he  was,  getting  to  see  her  like  this.  “  i  was  going  to  make  you  breakfast.  but  i  kinda  don’t  want  to  leave  now.  “  he  admitted.

Are you ready for that ? ”

he  could  see  her  breath  as  she  spoke  ;  it  was  that  cold.  he  tried  to  focus  on  that  instead  of  the  implication  of  his  actions  if  he  moved  any  closer  to  her.  dark  eyes  flicker  to  the  countdown  where  there  is  a  little  time  left.  they  probably  should’ve  discussed  this  before.  it  was  more  than  just  a  new  years  kiss.  this  would  reveal  what  they  had  been  trying  to  hide  for  ages.  “  i  hate  hiding  you,  rey.  it  feels  like  a  dirty  secret  when  it’s  the  best  thing  that’s  ever  happened  to  me.  but.....  you  have  to  be  sure.  “

a  grin  livens  poe’s  face  as  he  watches  the  groups  of  beings  around  the  group  dance.  it  had  been  so  long  since  he  had  been  able  to  go  out  &  enjoy  a  club.  hadn’t  wanted  to  in  a  long  time,  really.  he  had  been  so  focused  on  the  resistance.  but  now  the  war  was  over.  he  could  relax,  have  fun.  the  sleeves  of  his  shirt  are  rolled  up  to  his  elbows,  first  few  buttons  of  his  shirt  open,  a  pink  colored  drink  in  a  martini  glass  passing  his  lips  as  he  takes  a  sip.  he’d  been  concerned  about  bringing  rey  &  finn  to  this  place,  but  they  had  been  so  excited  when  he  had  explained  the  concept  of  a  dance  club.  plus,  this  one  was  nicer  than  some  of  the  joints  he  had  frequented  during  his  days  in  the  republic  navy.  they  were  taking  to  it  just  fine.  it  helped  that  poe  had  helped  them  decide  on  their  wardrobe  so  they’d  blend  in  better.  

rey’s  words  knock  him  out  of  his  thoughts  &  he  finishes  his  drink  quickly,  passing  it  to  a  server  droid.  he  grins  at  her,  “  i  haven’t  had  a  dance  in  a  long  time.  you  wanna  ??  “  he  raises  his  eyebrows  &  nods  in  the  directions  of  the  bodies  on  the  floor.  finn  had  been  swept  into  a  conversation  with  a  beautiful  twi’lek  woman,  his  hands  moving  as  he  spoke  just  feet  from  them.

𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍’𝐓 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐁𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐒𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓, but there was a pleading in his tone that made her unable to deny him ( even if he was a bit sloppy right now ). Rey knew how to handle the intoxicated, there had been very little for the scavengers to do other than salvage, bargain, gamble and drink. Many of them were harmless, but there had always been a few who tried to push their luck one way or another at Niima Outpost. She had learned quickly thanks to another scavenger who had taken pity on the then younger girl and taught her the basics to fighting. Fighting had been as crucial to survival as salvaging had been. Fortunately, she didn’t need the force to tell her that Poe landed in the harmless category. Which meant humoring, hydrating and ensuring he didn’t choke on his eventual vomit were her only concerns.

“ 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓, 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐓’𝐒 𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖… ” she requested, both due to her inexperience dancing and the fact she feared a fast jig would bring third concern on much quicker. “ I’m not much of a dancer, but at least if I step on you as well — I’m much lighter on my feet than Finn. ”  She took his hands, even if entering the throng only reminded her of how much this was all going to hurt when dawn came and everyone parted.

poe  grinned  happily  at  her  approval,  taking  her  into  his  arms.  one  arm  wrapped  around  her  waist,  the  other  one  grasping  her  hand  in  his.  the  music  was  still  going  at  a  beat  that  would  command  something  faster  than  a  simple  waltz,  but  he  wouldn’t  deny  rey  the  one  request  she  had  given  him.  “  anyone’s  better  than  finn.  “  he  murmured,  starting  to  lead  them  through  a  basic  four  step.  it  would  be  much  better  if  the  world  wasn’t  starting  to  spin,  if  he  hadn’t  felt  the  world  crashing  down  around  him.   his  head  moves  to  rest  against  her  &  poe  decides  that  he  wants  to  create  a  snapshot  of  this  moment  for  when  rey  inevitably  leaves  them  to  do  bigger  better  things.  

“  did  i  ever  tell  you  how  i  got  in  with  the  resistance  ??  “  poe’s  drunk  enough  that  he  doesn’t  remember,  but  he  doesn’t  think  he  has,  so  he  doesn’t  wait  for  her  confirmation  before  he  continues, “  leia  sent  me  an  encoded  message,  telling  me  she  wanted  to  meet.  i  was  undercover  for  the  republic  navy,  running  spice.  i  met  with  her  &  she  told  me  about  what  she  was  doing  &  how  she  wanted  me  there.  i  told  zorii  i  was  leaving  the  next  day,  never  looked  back.  all  of  black  squadron  came  with  me.  snap  said  it  was  cause  i’d  get  killed  by  myself.  “  he  smiled  sadly,  subconsciously  holding  rey  a  little  tighter.

She glanced at the bright green headband that sprouted a twig of fake mistletoe over the head of the pilot and laughed at his shenanigans in a fond, if not defeated, tone. “ I can’t believe that thing has survived as long as it has. ” she admonished, wiping he hands free of the batter that had splattered on them. Taking extra care around her ring as always. “ Weren’t you what, fifteen ? Sixteen ? When you got that thing ? ” The Princess shook her head with a grin, “ Well, if that’s the price I have to pay… c’mere, gimmie one. You’re too damn tall up on the counter. ”

“  i  cherish  it.  it’s  my  most  prized  possession.  “  poe  teased,  putting  the  plate  down  after  stealing  one  final  cookie.  “  i  protect  it  like  my  first  born.  “  that’s  not  necessarily  true.  just  last  week  bee  had  it  in  her  mouth,  but  he’s  not  going  to  tell  leia  that.  “  ben  &  i  were  at  the  corner  store.  i  had  just  gotten  my  license.  we  told  you  we  were  going  to  the  library.  “  he  grinned.  she  probably  knew.  she  always  did.  they  thought  they  were  so  subtle,  showing  up  with  new  comics  each  time.  it  had  just  so  happened  that  they  stopped  in  the  corner  store  for  candy  &  soda  afterwards.  his  eyes  sparkle  with  mischief  as  he  hops  down  from  the  counter,  leaning  down  to  place  a  quick  kiss  against  her  lips.  “  so....  does  this  mean  you’ll  marry  me  now  ??  “

Stephen sighed in a way that showed he understood all too well what Poe was saying, “ Anytime he sees me grab my work bag, Bowie immediately starts crying at my feet. I have a dog walker who helps get him exercise and keeps him fed during long days, but he always gets stressed even though I always come home. ” He admonished, shaking his head sympathetically for his dog. “ That’s why I really do love it when we’re on pet friendly sets, it makes things so much easier. The woes of being a dog parent, I guess. ”  He brought his cup to his lips, taking a long sip and a refreshed sigh. He sat silently for a moment, waiting as the hairdresser rinsed Poe’s head with the sprayer; casting a thoughtful glance at his co-star before breaking the silence once more, “ I don’t think I’ve seen yours, do you have a photo ? ” Granted, he knew he could probably have easily googled this — but that wouldn’t have been nearly as engaging.

poe  perked  up  at  the  obvious  dramatics  from  his  co-star.  a  fellow  dog  lover  then  ??  made  stephen  ten  times  better  in  his  book.  he  had  been  unsure  about  the  other  man.  he  seemed  private,  unwilling  to  open  up.  a  damn  shame  too,  considering  that  he  was  nice  to  look  at.  no  harm  no  foul  though.  but  he  could  handle  this,  someone  who  wanted  to  see  pictures  of  his  precious  girl.  “  of  course  i  do.  i’m  not  a  monster.  “  he  chuckled,  passing  over  his  phone  from  where  it  had  previous  been  in  his  hand  after  a  quick  swipe  through  of  the  photos  he  had  with  beebee.  the  lockscreen  was  a  picture  of  them  at  her  at  the  park,  frisbee  in  her  teeth.  cute,  but  he  much  preferred  the  picture  of  them  at  the  beach  last  summer  with  jess,  beebee  sandwiched  between  them.  the  three  had  just  gotten  out  of  the  water,  bee  splashing  right  along  with  them.

she was still unsure why poe wanted her to attend the holiday festivities with him. it was a thing that more serious couples did and nesota wasn’t sure if they were at that point. now, she certainly wishes that they were but she’d NEVER mention it to poe, in fear he might turn around and leave because she’s scared him off. so here she was, meeting his family even though she wasn’t sure what her and poe were.   “ latkes…you told me what that was. oh shoot, ”   hand rested on her forehead as the stress of the situation made her brain seemingly shut down,   “ i can’t even remember what latkes are, poe. they’re surely going to spit in my face now. ”

“  there’s  no  jewish  quiz.  they  don’t  throw  the  torah  at  you  if  you  can’t  remember  what  a  latke  is.  but  leia’s  are  so  good  you’ll  never  forgot.  “  his  hands  take  purchase  on  each  of  her  shoulders  as  he  looks  into  her  eyes.  “  we  don’t  have  to  go  in  if  you  don’t  want  to.  we  can  go  back  to  my  place  &  say  i  did  something  dumb,  fell.  had  to  cancel.  they’d  believe  it.  “  he  didn’t  want  to  freak  her  out,  but  now  he  was  worried  that  he  had  done  just  that.
