Creation VS Conformity
Well your concept is good but I dont like your composition. Your composition is great but I don't know whats going on. Love your color, but it's not the right length. Your exposure was off, but it was hilarious. The music was great, but where is your copyright documents. Awesome action shot, but where is your hazard report. Creation VS Conformity. The creators vs controllers, and the VS is the world. We have people telling us what to do, how to do it, when to do it by, with what things to do it with and, and how it is best done. We are the person telling ourselves, what we want to do, how we want to do it, when would be convenient to do it by, and how best you want to do it with what materials you have. We have the information, we just limit our wisdom, through living within the confines of another ones wisdom. We must listen to everybody, accept every thing, this awareness allows us to move forward.
Feeling helpless at the hands of another in a position of perceived authority causes stagnation of life, and internalization of experiences. This makes it harder for us the next time we want to go back there. One may find their marks degrade as their persistence, motivation is drained by a perceived lack of ability, fueled by directives of external forces. These forces act like barriers, herding your thoughts and actions.
The larger the barrier, means the more powerful affect has on your psyche, which is what comes into contact with this barrier.
Unless it is properly understood, recognised and accepted as presence, the further you will bounce away from it, isolating the problem. Feeding it with fear. We must accept that fear, explore it, and figure out why it is so God damned hard for us to look at.
whats the point anyway? why should i care?
The point is to talk, if you don't care you don't care. Why should I care that you don't?Everyone should do their own thing, if something ends up in front of you, don't blame the person for putting it there. Ask yourself how it can teach you a lesson in any form, and move on.
Air
Can I just say before I begin, or go any further I would ask of you that you take whatever I say with a grain of salt.
A familiar taste.
Using your own interpretation and your own wisdom to decipher a personal experience from whatever I am about to tell you.
Some of the things I, may say might sound whimsical, obtuse, unsatisfactory, and a little weird.
To others it may be fascinating, amusing, old hat or healing.
I believe any experience has either a negative or positive affect on your being and state of mind, and using your powers of intuition and you can process any event to eventually achieve a positive outcome, even from perceived negative event.
Sometimes the most constant problems in life are caused by a single negative experience. Yet these most powerful events can also be the most life changing or constructive, for positive change.
I would like to speak to you about one thing today, and one thing only, and this one thing is inherently the only 1 thing.
The only constant in your lives
I am talking about breathing.
You do this thing so constantly that we should all be great at it by now. Sharing tips and ideas, excelling in the most central, vital and important element our lives.
We draw air in and out and in and out, without really ever realising its effect or presence.
Unless under strain, such as walking up some stairs, recovering from a sprint, or coughing your guts up, we rarely stop to think about our breathing.
Some mention the sea breeze and its purifying effects. A cold wind can make us shiver, or refresh us on a hot day. Air is what surrounds us, and we exist within it. Entire body constantly needs air to pump vital blood through your system, to keep your brain and body alive.
Without your body functioning, and alive, some might say that you have no experience at all
When I asked my friend Lachlan Schaferius what his thoughts were on his 21 years of breathing, he told me that, “ there is a lot of power in the breath, I guess. . .not breathing, is like, not living.
So without breath we have no life, or no life as we know it. Maybe your natural state is an indicator of your health, your state of mind, and your experience. In a single breath we can experience something vastly unique from the last.
From one to the next your life as you know it, can change.
An example might be that you are walking down the street, thinking about what you are going to have for dinner, and then suddenly somebody fires a bazooka at you!
You might get one gasp of shock in, before your legs and arms are flying across the street, landing on peoples lawns.
But you wont be letting that gasp back out ever again, now will you? Maybe.
Bernie the bear explains something interesting. I asked him where he felt his natural breath is drawn from.
He said that he felt that he draws breath into his diaphram most of the time,
feeling that his state of breath may have been from the accumulative affects of having done athletics and singing,
from training to breath from there, previously in his life.
An extract from Yogi Ramacharaka’s book Science of Breath, is a book translated in 1904, and details details the functions of the diaphram.
“The air is drawn into the lungs by the action of the diaphram, a great, strong, flat, sheet-like muscle, stretched across the chest, separating the chest-box from the abdomen. The diaphragm's action is almost as automatic as that of the heart, although it may be transformed into a semi-voluntary muscle by an effort of the will. When it expands, it increases the size of the chest and lungs, and the air rushes into the vacuum thus created. When it relaxes the chest and lungs contract and the air is expelled from the lungs.”
Ramacharaka’s perspective, and account describes the complex inner workings of our respitory system,
in all its grandeur.
A perspective that is still relevant for today, now more than 100 years in the future!
we are only human after all.
Ramacharaka truly believes and describes how breath can be a reflection of ones mental and physical state.
This is supported by Bernie the Bears observation whose breathing into his diaphram helps him stay more calm and present. Feeling that slowing his breath helps him feel more in control and aware of his actions.
When asked if he notices other people breath, and its effects on him or the person breathing.
He stated, that the most obvious time to him, was when people are sleeping.
That peoples state of breath whilst asleep achieves a relaxed, and natural state of breath, free from conscious inhibitions and external environmental factors.
Now when I say natural state of breath, natural for that unique person.
If people have intense nightmares their draws of breath may be short and erratic,
If people nose is blocked because of a head cold they are more likely to snore.
If people are relaxed and in deep sleep, they draw slowly in through their nose and out their mouth.
Each a reflection of their current state of wellbeing, and presence. So what I am trying to convey is,
that every draw of breath you take effects your present moment,
which inevitably will affect your future state of being,
and your past state has currently manifested as your current state
There is essentially nothing but now, where the past can only be reflected upon in the present, and the future can only be conceptualised from the present moment.
Thinking about both the future and the past, will affect your current state,
and the great benefit of being a human being is that we can do so at any given moment. Yet just thinking about it, and not “doing” anything can have adverse repercussions on expectations and future realities.
If every draw of breath is either a positively or negatively charged event, the accumulation of either positive or negative effects will create outcomes that will inevitably move us closer towards life
or death,
as we know it
Controlling your state of breath will change your life immensely. Listen to the signals your body provides. Breath deeply. Live positively. Live life the way you want to
Economic Rap
Taking down to the level, a very funny and witty rap about our economic situation. Enjoyable on a few levels. "Practical men who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any intellectual influence are usually the slaves of some defunct economist" John Maynard Keynes Enjoy
Breathing With Intention
Some interesting concepts into the theory of breath, practiced by the age old yogi's for many years.
I will follow with more articles after more research =] much love

Musical production wisdom - From Oscar Berman
OK. So I've been thinking for a while, "what kind of info would i have found useful as a producer starting out? What kind of thing did i want to learn about once i had a few musical ideas down?" I thought i may as well start at the beginning. So, some fundamental ideas about starting a fresh project. (It should be remembered that while this might help you get a flowing vibe to your track nothing in the musical world should be taken as gospel, certainly not anything that i post. So your starting up, you've a few ideas on what kind of music you want to create. Lets say from downtempo chiller stuff (80-90BPM(Beats Per Minute)) to hiphop (90-100bpm), tribal and slow house (100-110) minimal, trance and house sits comfortably in the 110-130 bpm zone while dubstep and drum and bass could be anywhere from 130-150bpm depending on the feel you want. (ill go further into what makes thee genres at a later date.) the first step i would take would be your layout. This helps you get a finished product and also gives a little more direction to your mix. your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation,(ie. Logic, fruity loops, ableton) a wank, I know.) should have a timeline up the top of your arrange window. this is what will guide you to where you are in your track. Start by setting up markers at points where you either want to add instruments or change things up. this usually happens in groups of 4's. for example, within electronic music your intro might go for 8 bars with 3 more groups of 8 bars leading to the first drop, which goes for 16 bars and so on and so forth. to give you an example [intro] [adding instruments] [----] [----] [drop][----] [breakdown] [----] [build] [----] [drop] [----] etc. from there i would start by building a drum line that follows those markers, rising and falling in interest and complexity as the markers suggest it should until youve hit the end. from there the next most rhythmic section is usually the bass line. so follow the guids for that too. all the way until youve hit the end of the track. a good way to work through this is to first think about what sections you want to have the most impact. write them first then go back to less important sections using what you already have and cutting away from it or making changes. probably the most important part of music is the feel or vibe it gives to people (most importantly YOU) to help along with this idea let me say this: major keys are happy and minor keys are sad. this is a very simple explanation and without any reference probably quite a useless piece of information; however, if you google the 'circle of fifths' it will give you a diagram of what notes you can and cant use in any given key as well as telling you which is major and which is minor. unfortunately i dont have time to go too in depth into musical theory today, although if anyone wants me to elaborate they can just post on my wall or send me a message and i will help in what ever way i can. I hope this has been helpful in some way, ill post another quick written tutorial sometime soon, perhaps focusing on some deeper elements of composition, production or mixing depending on what you guys are after. peace.
Kymatica - Comprehensive Wisdom
We have created a disease within ourselves, the human race is at war with itself. The base need for survival, creates isolation, isolation breeds fear, ignorance, and hate. Hate leads to greed and warfare, and through not paying heed to our needs not only as an individual, but as someone who is deeply connected to all living things around them, collective society degenerates into something that generates negativity as opposed to positivity and creativity. This documentary, has some potent words. http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/kymatica/
If you have some spare time, and some brain power going, take some time out and watch some of this. The way this guy puts some things is extremely intense.
The speaker says
" there is so much information out there and very little wisdom"
You will only experience something from this if you want to or if you are open to it, everything you receive is totally up to you. We can point the finger " Oh you crazy conspiratorial" "I heard that blah blah"
Yet really, you can either build up the walls around you, or break them down completely, and build up the ones that matter most, to you. Sometimes a perspective shift is all you need, to see things in a different light.
“Why stick to the things that I’ve already tried, what's up and what's, off to the side"- Pantha du Prince - Stick to My Side - A good song. =]
