The Layout (From Ocean to Inland)
1. The Endless Blue: The ocean to the south/west.
2. The Salt-Stretch: The sandy and rocky beach.
3. The Whispering Fringe: The thick strip of tall reeds and marsh grasses. Has a few small streams that connect the endless blue to a large river further inland.
4. The Green-Shadow: The dense forest that forms the back border of all territories.
5. The Twoleg Places: Two horizontal lines of sturdy Twoleg dens that sit behind the forest. The two lines are separated by a wide thunderpath. There is a small forest behind the second stripe, before leading to more twoleg places and thunderpaths.

The Territories
StoneClan Territory (The Western Cliffs) - The High-Wall: The western side of the territory is dominated by a massive, towering cliff face. - The StoneClan Camp: Located halfway up the High-Wall in The Echoing Grotto, a large, dry cave system accessible by narrow stone ledges. - The Sun-Ledge: A flat plateau atop the cliffs where apprentices train and warriors sun themselves. - The Forest Edge: A patch of pine trees at the top of the cliff where they hunt squirrels. They must be careful of Coyotes, Raccoons, and Hawks lurking in the forest.
ReedClan Territory (The Central Curve) - The Great Bend: This territory occupies the center of the coastal curve, where the beach is widest and the sand is softest. - The ReedClan Camp: Located in The Hollow Heart, a large, naturally circular clearing deep within the densest part of the reeds. The walls are woven from living stalks. - The Heron’s Run: A shallow stream that cuts through the reeds and flows into the ocean, providing fresh water. The Forest Edge: A lush area of willow and birch trees at the back of the reeds.
TideClan Territory (The Eastern Shallows) - The Pool-Lands: The shoreline here is jagged and flat, filled with hundreds of vibrant tide pools teeming with life. - The TideClan Camp: Located at The Pool Lands, a cluster of massive, flat boulders and deep pools that remain sheltered even during high tide. The cats sleep in the "pockets" between the rocks. -The Forest Edge: A grove of salt-stunted oaks and thickets where the Clan gathers bedding.

Key landmarks & Boarders
The Great Driftwood (The Gathering Spot): Located exactly at the center of the bay, where the borders of all three Clans meet. It is a massive, ancient driftwood tree bleached white by the sun, half-buried in the sand. At the full moon, the leaders sit upon the highest branches to address the gathered cats.
The Siren’s Teeth (The Hazard): This is the border between StoneClan and TideClan. It is a treacherous stretch of black, jagged rocks that jut out into the surf. Because of the way the bay curves, the waves hit these rocks with immense force, coating them in slick green moss and sea-spray. One wrong step here usually results in a cat being swept into the "churn" against the cliff base.
The Rustle-Path (StoneClan/ReedClan Border): A narrow sandy path that divides the cliff-side from the marshy reeds. It is marked by a line of white seashells.
The Shell-Line (TideClan/ReedClan Border)- A natural ridge where the reeds give way to the rocky tide pools. It is the primary hunting ground for crabs.
The Abandoned Garage: Located at the edge of the Two-leg Place, this structure is made of cold metal and cracked concrete. It smells of "grease" and "old thunder."
The Star-Glass Cove (The Spiritual Site): Hidden beneath the High-Wall, the Star-Glass Cove is a sacred cavern floored with ocean-polished glass and quartz. At its center lies the Moon-Altar, a radiant spring-fed tide pool where medicine cats and leaders come to commune with StarClan beneath the moonlight.

TideClan Camp: The Star-Pools
The Clearing & Fresh-kill Pile - The heart of the camp is a wide, stone-floored expanse where cats gather to share tongues. Shallow tide pools at the edges offer kits fresh-washed shells for play. Nearby, a deep, shaded fissure serves as the fresh-kill pile, where the cool stone prevents the sun from spoiling the daily catch.
The Spire-Rock & Leader's Den - This jagged, white-stained rock juts over the camp, offering views of the Endless Blue from its peak. Beneath it lies the Leader’s Den, a cozy cave with sea-polished pebbles. Draped in dried kelp for privacy, the nest is lined with soft pelican down, creating a regal, protected space for the leader.
The Nursery - Tucked in a wind-shielded hollow behind the Spire-Rock, the nursery is a sanctuary of fine, soft sand. Woven driftwood reinforces the nests, while colorful sand-dollars are tucked into the walls to bring luck. It is the camp’s most protected spot, so queens and their kits can rest in coastal safety.
The Apprentices' Den - Located on the eastern side, this medium cave features walls encrusted with ancient, fossilized shells. The apprentices sleep in sturdy nests of woven sea-grass. The space echoes with the enthusiastic energy of youth, serving as a communal hub for the clan's future warriors to rest and bond.
The Warriors' Den - This spacious horizontal crack in the clan’s largest boulder allows warriors to sleep to the rhythmic song of the ocean. Senior warriors claim the sheltered back, while younger cats stay near the entrance.
The Medicine Den - Situated by a bubbling freshwater spring, this den stays humid and cool. The medicine cats utilize flat stone shelves to organize their herbal stores. The quiet, dark rear of the cave provides a peaceful recovery area for sick cats, featuring thick moss nests that muffle the crashing surf outside.
The Elders' Den - Positioned on the western side, this den catches the lingering warmth of the evening sun. The entrance is wide and low, allowing veterans to move easily without climbing. It is a favored spot for storytelling, decorated with bright fragments of coral brought by appreciative clanmates.
Spare Den - This damp, narrow crevice is tucked far from the nursery to ensure total isolation. Its steep walls make escape difficult without assistance. When a rare intruder or prisoner is held, a heavy, salt-crusted piece of driftwood is wedged across the opening, serving as a sturdy barrier against the outside world.

StoneClan Camp: The Echoing Grotto
The Clearing & Fresh-kill Pile - The heart of the Grotto is a wide, limestone floor polished smooth by generations of paws. Sunlight filters through high ceiling cracks, illuminating the central fresh-kill pile. Large, flat "table" stones are decorated with sea-bleached bones and colorful pebbles, where cats gather to share meals of rock doves and mice.
The Peak of Echoes & Leader’s Den - A massive, flat-topped stalagmite serves as the podium for the leaders and deputy's announcements. Tucked beneath its base, the Leader’s Den is a sturdy cave carved into the cliffside. The nest is lined with thick eagle feathers and red coral, while a curtain of hanging lichen provides a quiet, authoritative space for rest.
The Nursery - Located in the deepest, warmest corner of the cave, the nursery is a natural sandy bowl. High stone walls protect the kits from mountain drafts. The entrance is adorned with bright blue seashells and soft gull feathers to entertain the young ones and invite the protection of the Great Travelers.
The Apprentices’ Den - This upper-level ledge is reached by a series of narrow "stairs" cut into the rock. Inside, apprentices sleep in nests of dried mountain grass. The walls are decorated with jagged rocks and feathers, symbols of their training progress and their aspirations to become formidable StoneClan warriors.
The Warriors’ Den - A vast, cavernous hall near the Grotto's main entrance allows for rapid defense. Warriors sleep on elevated stone tiers. Each nest is bordered by sharp, protective rocks and dark coral, reflecting the clan's disciplined and fierce nature as the primary protectors of the dangerous High-Wall.
The Medicine Den - A quiet alcove where water drips steadily into a stone basin, providing a constant supply for patients. Herbs are tucked into narrow rock fissures to stay dry. The floor is covered in smooth river stones and pale seashells, creating a serene environment for those seeking Star Clan's healing dream-guidance.
The Elders’ Den - Situated near the entrance to catch the midday warmth, this den features low, accessible walls for the elders. The nests are reinforced with extra-thick moss and soft feathers. Intricate patterns of colorful shells and sea glass are embedded in the sandy floor, honoring their long years of service.
The Spare Den - A vertical shaft dropped into the cave floor, accessible only by a steep, slippery incline. This lightless pit is used for rare prisoners or intruders. A heavy log of driftwood is rolled over the opening, and the walls are devoid of any decorations, leaving only cold, silent stone for the occupants. ---
ReedClan Camp: The Hollow Heart
The Clearing & Fresh-kill Pile - The central sandy floor of the Hollow Heart is encircled by living reed walls. At its center, a flat driftwood slab holds the fresh-kill of the clan, colorful hibiscus flowers are woven into the surrounding stalks.
The Reached-Rafter & Leader’s Den - A massive, arched branch of sun-bleached driftwood serves as the Reached-Rafter for the leader’s announcements. Tucked beneath its sturdy base is the Leader’s Den, a soft hollow lined with dried moss and flowering vines. The entrance is draped in sea-lavender, reflecting the Clan’s creative and observant nature in their marshy home.
The Nursery - Located in the thickest part of the reeds, the nursery is a warm, woven cocoon. The floor is padded with soft cattail down, and the walls are decorated with vibrant beach flowers and smooth, luck-bringing shells. It is a peaceful sanctuary where the queens prepare for their litter.
The Apprentices’ Den - This den is a low, sturdy tunnel of woven marsh grass and flexible willow branches. Apprentices sleep in nests of dry sedge. Colorful vines are braided into the ceiling, and the entrance is marked by seagull feathers, symbolizing their journey toward becoming swift and agile Reed Clan warriors.
The Warriors’ Den - A wide, circular structure of interlocked reeds and driftwood, the warriors' den is spacious and airy. Warriors sleep in nests reinforced with river-silt and shells. The walls are decorated with intricately braided vines, showcasing the Clan’s legendary flexibility and creative spirit during their rest.
The Medicine Den - Situated near the damp edge of the camp, this den is cooled by the nearby stream. The Medicine cats store herbs in woven reed baskets. The walls are adorned with dried white flowers and trailing vines, creating a serene, fragrant space for healing those who serve the marshy territory.
The Elders’ Den - This cozy den is tucked against a sun-warmed bank of sand, decorated with polished driftwood and bright seashells. The entrance is wide and easy for the elders to navigate. Nests are layered with extra cattail down, providing a soft, fragrant place for the elders to share their many creative tales.
The Spare den - Hidden behind a screen of tangled, thorny vines, this damp hollow is deep and difficult to climb. The walls are slick with mud, and a heavy, weighted piece of driftwood covers the exit when occupied. It is an unadorned, somber space kept far from the camp’s vibrant, flowery center. ---
Cultures of the Costal Clans
The ocean is a fickle neighbor, and when a storm turns into a violent hurricane, the Clans set aside rivalries through an ancient custom known as “The Tidal-Truce”. If one or two of the clans camps are damaged by the storm, the third clan that has suffered the least damage is honor-bound to assist. Strong warriors are dispatched to help reweave reed walls or move massive pieces of driftwood to reinforce shelters. If a Clan’s medicine cat is overwhelmed by injuries from falling trees or rising surges, healers from the neighboring Clans arrive with bundles of dried herbs.
To the coastal cats, the ocean is a realm of ancient giants. They share stories of The Deep Singers (Whales), whose low, booming songs are believed to be the voices of StarClan ancestors traveling beneath the waves. Dolphins are revered as The Silver Guardians, playful spirits of the foam that guide lost souls back to the shore. The slow-moving Manatees are known as The Kelp-Geniuses, ancient symbols of peace and wisdom that guard the estuaries. Manta Rays are respected as Ghost-Wings, silent messengers that glide between the world of water and the stars. These creatures are never hunted; to see one is considered a powerful omen of changing seasons or a sign of a great leader’s rise.
Every camp is a living gallery of the sea’s bounty, reflecting the pride of its residents. Warriors spend time during "beachcombing" patrols searching for treasures to adorn their dens. In TideClan, nests are often lined with crushed, shimmering shells to catch the morning light, while StoneClan cats use polished sea glass to mark the boundaries of the nursery. A sand dollar placed at a nursery entrance is a silent prayer for a kit’s safe birth and a long life. Personal adornment is equally significant; a seagull feather might be braided into a fast runner’s fur, or a spray of sea-lavender tucked behind a medicine cat’s ear to signal a successful herb harvest.
The spiritual and political life of the Clans is dictated by the moon’s phases. Every half-moon, medicine cats make the trek to Star-Glass Cove. There, the silence is broken only by the tide as they press their noses to the Moon-Altar, the reflections on the glass floor bridging the gap to the stars. On the night of the full moon, the Great Driftwood hosts the Gathering. While leaders address the cats from the bleached white branches, exactly seven chosen cats from each Clan mingle on the sand below. This strict "Rule of Seven" ensures that no single Clan can easily ambush the others, maintaining a fragile but vital peace that allows for the exchange of news and warnings. ---
Predators and Prey of the coast
TideClan Territory Prey - Known for their love of the water, TideClan cats are masters of the Tidepools, hooking fish, minnows, prawns, and elusive octopi from rocky crevices. Along the Salt-Stretch, they use sharp claws to unearth razor clams hidden beneath wet sand. Hunting sand pipers and seagulls requires patience, and hunting the massive pelican requires two fully grown warriors to ground its heavy wings.
StoneClan Territory Prey - Known for their admiration of the cliffs and rocks, StoneClan warriors stalk rock doves and nimble mice among dry stones. They expertly pluck seagulls mid-flight as they crest the High-Wall. On the beach below, they hunt for crabs and periwinkles or dig through grit for succulent razor clams. Like TideClan, bringing down a pelican is a team effort. These hardy hunters also snag lizards basking on sun-warmed ledges, ensuring their clan remains strong, well-fed, and truly formidable.
ReedClan Territory Prey - Known for their compassion for the tall grass, ReedClan hunters navigate the Whispering Fringe with silent paws, catching muskrats, shrews, and rabbits within dense marsh. They expertly snatch wood ducks and marsh wrens from reeds while hooking minnows, crayfish, and frogs from the Great Bend’s shallows. Along the Shell-Line, they gather periwinkles and crabs. Their territory offers a rich variety, from lizards in the grass to sand pipers on the shore, keeping the clan agile and well-nourished throughout the seasons.
Dangerous Animals - Warriors steer clear of poisonous jellyfish and stingrays, respecting their lethal sting. While herons and lobsters aren't usually aggressive, they are avoided for their dangerous beaks and claws. Territorial beavers, otters, and moray eels are met with caution, while larger predators like sharks, seals, coyotes, raccoons, and hawks represent lethal threats.
