Empowerment!.......?

I am a Bard and I have been thinking about this over and over every time I read a article or hear some news that a fictional character that is recognized as a white man is changed into a woman or someone who is Black, Latin, Asian, what have you. It's this manufactured sense of empowerment controlled by those whom we assume are in power.

Back in 90s, there was a rebellion against "The Man" who was always an white man in his late 40s at the youngest that had all the land, power, and money. A lot of shows movies attacked this person that was a combination of what is not referred to as the 1%. Nickelodeon had a subset of shows under the banner SNICK. It was all about KIDS RULE! And parents just not understanding. All these shows were written by adults.

Over the past few years, the focus has went away from kids because they don't have money, and now has shifted to teenagers with just enough income to buy toys and costumes. Maze Runner and Hunger Games are about teens that need to save the world from adults, or "The Man" now broken into many parts. These books are once again written by the people that would be considered the antagonist of their own fictional universes.

This is the problem with gender changing and race changing characters in fiction. 1. Its simply a poly to get at audiences that would otherwise not have paid attention( Black Human Torch, fake out Ken Watanabe's Ra's Al Ghul, new cast of Ghostbusters, etc ) 2. It hinders creativity because the connotation will always be brought back to the original or most famous version of the character to ever one.

Movember Pink Ribbons

Your friend with stage 4 is telling you to shave this November and not to participate any of these awareness trends. We get nothing from it and that very few who do are paraded around for vanity, false hope, and 3 seconds of fame. That's cool for terminally ill kids but that about it.

Personally, I find it a tad disrespectful that people that hop on these trends equate that to getting closer to finding a cure/helping out so those who grow a beard, change their FB pic to a comic character, wear pink, or celebrate national cancer day can feel good about themselves. It changes the focus of cancer victims to the vague concept of goodness. The same logic applies to ‪#‎BlackLivesMatter‬ vs ‪#‎AllLivesMatter‬

Guess what? You don't have to do anything. False sympathy is far worse than just going on about your day.

I've be fortunate enough to have a strong group of friends to help me, but I have seen people who have not. Without getting into stories that would have ME crying about those who lost their battle with cancer due to not having the resources. Or, finding out too late. Or, the sheer fact that they simply won't live anymore due to the aggression of the cancer and inability to handle the treatment. Or, those that have fought cancer over and over again and just wanted to die. Allow us to have our dignity.

Please, do not make a parade of a disease that kills millions.

Batman vs Robin

Powerful opening sequence. I love the idea of having the “Justice. Not vengeance” theme begin and end in the 1st fight so that we are not dragged along or spoon feed the dynamic of the dynamic duo.  Opening bad guy did everything he needed to do. Given his role, he would get lame fast if kept any around longer. Enter a Court of the Owl member. New 52 is in full effect. Personally, I dislike the Owls as they make Gotham’s past too convoluted, but the animators are not scared to show their gruesome nature. Batman’s torso changes shape from time to time during this scene.

Bruce’s characterization actually shows growth. Something that Grant Morrison did in the comics back in 2006 and is rarely touched on, especially in animated versions of the character. Sentimental moment between Damien and Bruce after they discussed Dickens’s work. Great stuff, so far having Bruce as a father rather than a sulking father figure.

Scene 3a. Making sure that they stick to the guns of showing that Bruce and Damien are father and son, we now get to see the problems that they have without getting to the point where they hate each other.  Question, who installed all that shit in Bruce’s house?

Scene 3b. Nightwing vs Robin. I love the attention to detail in displaying the difference between how Batman/Robin fight as opposed to how Nightwing fights. However, I hated the outcome. Also, there is some strange physical dimensions for Nightwing during the fight.

I have pretty much praising the movie thus far, but the major problem I see is not knowing who the villain is(pretending that I don’t read the comics) or what he/she/it/they want. As a whole, DC’s greatest strength is in their villains and this movie is going strong without one 20 minutes in. Also, in there is a flashback where we get to see Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s father. He looks TOO much like current Bruce. Its like they kept the same drawing of Bruce and used it for Thomas just adding a mustache. It’s kinda cheap looking.

Side note: Flashbacks would be more powerful if Damien had some connection to the Court of Owls instead if it all being about Bruce. Also, it is the strange thing to have DC show Batman getting his ass kicked. Bravo of the balls to show that he is human.

Finally we get to know the name of the an Owl, he is called Talon. A little too much like 90s Batman who wore armor and hurt the bad guys blended with The League of Assassins. It’s good that they focus on Damien instead of Batman because of his training, however, it make either the Owls or The League of Assassins redundant. 

Bruce is now a man that deals with his troubled past instead of letting it consume him. But the “dark Batman” is still there. Next scene, Bruce looks weak, again. This is now pushing the envelope of DC’s portrayal of Batman.

Awful dialogue exchange between the Grandmaster and Bruce. Really could have used 2 more draft edits. And WAY TOO “Eyes Wide Shut” for my blood. If you are one of those Illuminati conspiracy guys, this is for you. Talon shows some resistance to the way of thinking that the Court has for him. 

Next sequence has the New 52 Dynamic Duo putting in work. Can someone explain as to why the Court doesn’t use guns if they are all about results?

Talon and …..the girl that is seen sometimes wanting Bruce Wayne, are in bed together. More Bloodline, Illuminati stuff.

For the 3rd time, Batman gets beat up. The fight between him and Damien really shows how different Robin is to Nightwing. Any time they fought it was usually a short set of moves then talking, or a strike out of emotion. This is an all out fight. Fantastic call back to Grant Morrison’s Batman #666. This is followed by the best reverse mind fuck that Bruce has ever went through. And that leads me to something; I have been saying Bruce far more times that Batman. This is a great movie for that character as it’s not allow for the tried and truth “Bruce is the mask” stuff that has been going on so much. Bruce Wayne and Batman are of equal parts throughout the film.

Everything that happens in the Owls nest, if that’s what you want to hear me call it is surprising, refreshing, and downright shocking. 

From there, the final fight scene takes place. It’s big and obnoxious in the size of its scope. Having the Bat family win the way they did is a little unfulfilled because the writers wrote themselves in a box with no way out that wouldn’t have destroy everything they built up to this point. What does Talon really want? This is more about the Owls vs Batman, then it became Talon and Robin(rats from the gutter) vs The Elite, then it became Talon vs Robin. DC usually does poorly when focusing more on heroes than villains (Green Lantern movie) but this was an exception. From a character standpoint, Robin truly grew, that means he grew out of being ....……

Final word. 9/10. 3 things that hold it back, the action animation which relies on panning in on side of the screen and then panning out the other when action takes place. The second thing holding it back is having the heroes get beat up all the damn time. However, to its credit, it doesn’t mean that they come off as weak. Lastly, and the biggest gripe is Talon be a villain with no motivation. 2/3 of those negatives could easily break any other cartoon movie down but the positives as mention in the review are just too powerful. Many call backs to Grant Morrison’s work, Batman Begins, and the Adam West Batman is you catch it. Must own due to the surprises, character development, and risk that pay off in spades.

Black History month: Madam Tinubu

Many times you'll some shit on a yahoo comment post about how Blacks should blame slavery on the African tribes that sold them off to the Europeans. American style slavery was very different than other forms of slavery. Other countries gave their slaves dignity and more importantly the slavery was not passed down from generation to generation.

When Madam Tinubu, the leader of what is now Nigeria, found out about her people not coming back and how her people were being treated, she not only stopped selling her people, she fought the Europeans back.

I'm so sick of every minority clinging on the Black struggle. Nothing that took place in your history is parallel to our history.

Black History Month: John Singleton.

Nowhere near as outspoken as his counterpart, Spike Lee, John Singleton has not only been a force in Black films, but in films in general. I won’t break down every movie Singleton has direct and/or produce. That info will be found in the Wiki page

I want to talk about his 2 greatest works. First, the 1991’s film Boyz in The Hood is perhaps the most honest tale about inner city youth ever made.  Outside of showcasing Cuba Gooding jr. and Ice Cube as respectable actors, it was topped off by a father figure played by Laurence Fishburne named “Furious Styles”.  If you are over 20, you should have already seen this movie because it is that important. If you are younger than 20, please take the time to see this film. Without getting into spoilers, the reason why this movie is so great is because it makes sense of the senselessness of inner city violence at the time. Boyz in the Hood was a great movie, no doubt. However, it was a little preachy. Yes, that was needed…..at the time. But there are some scenes that are really out of place today. Another problem that I have with it was the fact that they used a number of minor characters as caricatures when conveying the film’s message. John Singleton’s next great movie did not have that problem, thankfully.

This guy created the Crenshaw Mafia. In the late 90's, kids around that area made a gang based off a throw away line in the movie.

The movie Baby Boy takes place in the inner city as well.  But it’s a different time, about 20 years ahead of Dough Boy’s struggle. Street violence is down, the neighborhoods area lot easier to walk at night, but this is not a story about an educated Black kid trying to get out of his situation, losing friends on the way. This is about a young man that was coddled because of the safety that he was afforded due to the lack of violence. The main character, Jodie is dealing with loved ones surrounding him wanting him to be more independent.

PEACE HAS COST YOU YOUR STRENGTH. VICTORY HAS DEFEATED YOU.

It is funny that Baby Boy came out the same year as Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings. Though trilogies like Charlie Angels exist, those 2 franchises forced Hollywood’s hand on trying to make every fucking movie into a trilogy. The problem with that style is that it loses the art of telling a complete character arch in one sitting. Yes, the movie was a Black movie, but it was a good story told with Black characters first. It works both taken both seriously and ironically.

Tons of one liners in Baby Boy. Give it 2 viewings to sink it all in.*

Singleton was one of those artists that lived to the hype. He was the first Black director nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director, as well as the youngest person to have ever been nominated for the award.  He has yet to have a creative dud. Someone like Kevin Smith came around a little after Singleton did, but has been stuck in 90’s. Same can be said about Wes Anderson being stuck in the early 2000’s.  Though he produces less, much of his art is of quality.

 Fuck both 12 years a slave and Django. Especially Django

With movies like 12 Years a Slave and Django Unchained showcasing Black struggle being told by non-Black directors, John Singleton has been vocal about Hollywood’s view of Black art and Black consumers. We don’t need another slave movie that showcases the compassion of a white man. We need Black creative’s to push art in ways that is rarely shown in mainstream media.

LEGO DC Comics Superheroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League review

OK, let’s get a few things out of the way. This is a Lego movie for kids. It is not the super cool Lego Movie. This is more like TV Special than anything else. It is for kids plain and simple. Maybe you think that is a good thing, maybe you think that is a bad thing. Good guys are good because they are good. Bad guys are bad because they are bad. No back story. Lego is a company that licenses its style out to companies that have a built-in audience.

My fear walking in.

Bizarro is a character that runs on reverse logic. This is pretty cool when sprinkled over a story arch in comics. However, the more and more focus is place on the character and other Bizarro characters, the harder it is for writers to maintain that logic. If this was comic writer Geoff Johns handling this, I would not worry. But in the hands of cartoon writers, I was worried that it would be an issue for them to tell a story for kids using reverse logic.

Plot.

Ever changing. This is problem as you can imagine.

Bizarro has nothing to do, no place to go and no place to live. Superman shows him “Bizarro World” which is a square planet that has certain effects on the it’s non- Bizarro inhabitants.  There is some type of gold rock that is a conductor of energy there as well. 

Bizarro , with a ray gun, purposely creates the Bizarro League. They all are supposed to the reverse of the League member that the Bizarro ray touch, but this is not the case at all. Bizarro doing this was following normal logic. Some of my fears are coming true.

The Bizarro League goes back home to Bizarro World and find that something or someone is taking all the gold rocks from his planet.

DARKSIED'S BEHIND IT ALL! 

After a misunderstanding, the Justice League teams up with the Bizarro League to fight Darkseid who shows up around the ½ point.

Bizarro feels that he has no place in the whole wide world or even Bizarro World. This being a kid’s movie, Bizarro does find his niche and both teams defeat Darksied, of course. Something with setting up another movie comes in at the last 10 seconds then roll to credits.

Characters. Heroes.

Flash, Green Arrow, Plastic Man, and Hawkman are only part of the trailers. If you seen those, you have seen their role in the movie. Pathetic!  Flash and Green Arrow have successful TV shows now, at the very least, Arrow should have had some more time. NO Bizarro creations for the mentioned heroes. Lame.

Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Guy Gardner Green Lantern have minor roles. I did like how they made Guy an asshole without pouring in on too much. Cyborg’s “humor” got annoying even at a little kids level. Wonder Woman said little, did less. Same can be said about their Bizarro versions. Well, in terms of what they could have done, it was pretty unsatisfactory. All the Bizarro League members failed to do things in reverse.

This is the League we get. Cool but wanted more than this.

Two examples standout. B. Cyborg and B. Guy are supposed to have some type of opposite traits that Cyborg and Guy have. They kinda do, I think. But this happens on Bizarro world where normal Cy and Guy have the powers in a funk to being with. So it’s like we have 2 Cyborg’s and 2 Guy Gardener’s. B. Batman and B. Wonder Woman did nothing and were not even funny unlike……

Batman. I get annoyed that Bat is placed so high on all things DC. However, this is was refreshing take on the character. Instead of him knowing everything and it being cool with the League, namely Superman, Bat is portrayed as a paranoid dick that is quite funny. I love all the internal dialogue Batman had. Good Stuff.

Superman character arch has a purpose in the film and that is why I like him. The bulk of the movie he is trying to explain why is not like Bizarro but the actions in the film make him see why just putting Bizarro on a planet by himself is not in anyone’s best interest. 

Bizarro. Like I said, having a character like him be the focus of a movie for kids is hard because you have to follow the logic all the way through for him to truly work. The film say’s “Fuck that” and starts using normal and reverse logic in the same scenes from time to time. That is very jarring. I was expecting more comedy from him and his League but it fell flat. This is keeping in mind all the slap stick humor stuff as well. 

Characters. Villains….if you can call them that.  

Gorilla Grood. Had my hopes up, then it was a melee fight with no consequence to the story. It introduced characters then just left them there. Deathstroke, The Penguin, and Captain Cold don’t do anything interesting.

Lex Luthor.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------waste.

Darkseid. Coming in after the ½ point with no set up, it was hard to care about what he wanted to do. I knew that he was going to be defeated easily but fuck man that was horrible. 

LEGO-ness.

Really disappointing. There are no interesting constructs. The Lego video games do a much better job and I’m talking about the ones from 2008! This is more like a Green Lantern: The Animated Series in block form rather than a Lego movie. You get me?

Overall score. Changing plot focus and little Lego imaginative things going on, I am going to have to give this a 5/10*. The humor is only good in the half. It’s like DC/Lego paid the funny writers only half the check.

*This movie would be a fantastic watch for a child with a sibling, friend, or classmate with mental/physical disabilities. If you are a parent or a teacher that knows a kid that is having difficulty understanding that not everyone has the same capacity, this is a must own.

Black History Month: Daniel Hale Williams

This is a man I only knew about because my father told me that a Black man invented open heart surgery. Usually, we don’t get to hear those stories so I want to share this with you. Daniel Hale Williams was good with his hands all around. He was an apprentice shoemaker, and then later owned a barbershop with his sister. Sometime in 1880, Mr. Williams worked under the former chief surgeon of the US Army, Dr. Henry Palmer for 2 years. 

After Graduating from Northwestern University Medical School in 1883 he opened his own medical office. 8 years later, he founded his own Provident Hospital and Training School Association and had one of the highest recovery rates in the nation for a new hospital. Keep in mind that things like antiseptics were new at the time and Mr. Williams had to learn about the new medical breakthroughs as they were happening. 

In the summer of 1893, a young man was stabbed by his wife in the chest. Williams had no choice but to open the man’s chest further and perform a surgery. This had never happen before. The reason that this procedure was unheard of was because if the patient’s chest was open, they would be nearly guaranteed that they would suffer from an infection.  Thought it took almost 3 months, the patient walked out the hospital on his own power!

Of course, he received honors and rewards and was a part of American College of Surgeons and was a member of the Chicago Surgical Society. This man set the standards of surgeons for generations to come. Thank you, Daniel.

Black History Month: Dame Dash.

I was hesitant about picking Dame Dash as my first feature on Black History Month. I felt that starting for with a person so closely linked to rap music would be a bad look. The month needs more respect and I do not want to parade around a bunch of “get money” jackasses.

However, Dame Dash is simply too big of an American cultural icon to be ignored. His Wikipedia page disgusts me on how uninformative it is. I plan on changing that later this month.

Jay-Z is a household name today, but that was not always the case, especially during his come up. Roc-A-Fella records was comprised by Kareem “Biggs” Burke, Jay-Z, and Dame Dash. They used their own money to afford them high level producers such as Clark Kent and DJ Premier.

With the amount of buzz they created selling CD’s out the truck and showing off in the night clubs introducing Crystal to the people there. They landed a deal with Def Jam Records. The album “Reasonable Doubt” is considered a classic…..today. But in the mist of Wu-Tang, The Fugees, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, LL Cool J, and a slew of others, Jigga just did not hit in that well. Yes, the album eventually went platinum, but a few years later, all those forgettable rappers from No Limit like Slik Da Shocker platinum as well.

Yes, even the No Limit Jobbers were out selling Jigga. Usually, by wide margins.

After the near career ending video for “Sunshine” on In My Lifetime vol.1, Dame had to put up his own money again to make “The Streets is Watching” soundtrack that gave Jay-Z’s career a Phoenix Down.

Reasonable Doubt was cool and all, but it was up against so much competition at the time. Then this happened.

Personally, this is when I truly became a Jay-Z fan. If not for this soundtrack giving street cred back to J. I doubt anyone would be listening to him at all.

In My Lifetime vol.3 is probably when everyone realized what Dame knew for years, that Jay-Z was the #1 rapper. This is also the time that everyone found out what Crystal is and recognized the drink as a sign of high status. 

In 2000, Kanye West became a producer for Roc-A-Fella. Dame Dash and Biggs were the ones that saw the potential in Kanye as a rapper. Jay-Z was firmly against it. Had Jay got his way, there would not never been a “College Dropout” album and who knows what would have happen if Kanye was regulated to the production side of things his entire career?

In 2002, Dame brought Cam’ron and The Diplomats to Roc-A-Fella. Those guys are responsible for men wearing pink in the early to mid 2000’s. Jim Jones, a member of The Diplomats was part of the reason the rock band, The Black Keys got introduce to the urban market. The same year, Dame Dash put Kevin Hart in his first movie in which he put up his own money to make. That is what makes him so special in my eyes. The fact that he is successful enough in promoting artist the traditional way but using his resources to spearhead projects and using major companies resources as a partnership. 

That was just a resume of things that he has done mostly for himself. The reason I writing about Dame Dash is that he is currently giving knowledge to entrepreneur for free.* Dame Dash is also an advocate of ending rap beefs and exposing Culture Vultures in the black community like Steve Stoute and Lyor Cohen*. More on Lyor later this month.

Not only that, he owns an art gallery called Poppington in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Currently, Dame has gone big time and is playing his hand in the motor oil game making him a tycoon. 

What makes Dame stand out from the rest is that he leads by example of being independent and successful all while being cool, giving back to community as well as showing the youth that there is more to life than a 9-5.

Just how bad is the UFC thirsty for money?

Well, Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva have both failed their drug test. Nick pissed hot for weed in the post fight drug test. Who would have thought that? This is different from the Jon Bones Jones drug test because it was post fight.

Remember, Nick was high while fighting the match that made him famous with Takanori Gomi. That was the biggest fight of his life at that point. At this point, it’s Anderson.

Anderson Silva pissed hot in the pre fight, out of competition drug test. The entire out of competition drug testing needs to be addressed quicker that the Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) scandals were. Exactly how far from competition can you have drugs in your system? OK, let’s get a few things straight. When you suffer and injury like Anderson Silva did, doctors give you steroids to speed up the healing process. It just so happens that steroids can be used to enhance your performance as well. Anyone that knows about sports injuries knows that at some point between December 2013-January 2015 there was going to be some Vitamin S in The Spider’s system. 

What is starting to upset me is that both Jon Jones and Anderson Silva, arguably the greatest fighters on the planet failed drug test before their fights. Nonetheless, the UFC allowed it to happen anyway. It is understandable that they did not want to fuck their money up, but at the same time, the UFC is looking more and more like the WWE. Pro wrestling is based on fixed fights and before the 1940’s, was comprised of only amateur wrestlers and judoka’s. Real fighters. 

2014 was a bad year for the company. Not that they lost money, but because so much potential money got away from them due to injuries. Let’s run down the list, shall we? 

UFC 169 was supposed to have Jones v Glover. This didn’t happen because Jon Jones is a troll and just did not want to fight.

UFC 170 was supposed to have Comier v Evans. Evans got hurt.

UFC Fight Night: Manuwa v Gustafsson card was riddled with injuries.

UFC 171. Again no Jones v Glover. Again, Jones is a troll man.

UFC 173. Chris Weidman, the middle weight champ was to square off against Vitor Belfort. TRT rules suddenly change and that fight was scraped. On the same card Renan Barao, the Bantamweight champ was to go against Raphael Assuncao. TJ Dillashaw replaced Raphael who was injured. Barao-Dillashaw is not a great last minute headlining event.

UFC 172. With Belford out of the picture for a while, Ryoto(not Lyoto) Machida stepped in as the #1 contender for the middleweight belt. Weidman got hurt.

UFC Fight Night on May 31st was to have Cheal Sonnen v Wanderlie Silva. For whatever the reason it got pushed back. Same card was to have Junior Dos Santos vs Miocic. JDS got hurt. Remember, this card is in Brazil. Wanderlie and JDS are heroes and Sonnen has made so many anti-Brazil comments that he is their biggest villain.

UFC 175. Once again, Sonnen v Wanderlie is pushed back.

UFC 176 is the only card outside of UFC 151:Jones v Dan Henderson that got canceled due to lack of star power. Jose Aldo v Chad Mendes II was supposed to be the headliner for the Featherweight championship. Aldo got hurt.

UFC 177 Dillashaw v Barao II. Barao cannot fight because the affects the weight cut is having on his body. Someone name Soto fights Dillashaw instead. Co-main event starting Demetrious Johnson v Chris Cariso for the Flyweight championship gets moved as well.

UFC 178 Gustafsson v Jon Jones II changes once Gus got hurt and became Comier v Jon Jones. Then Jon gets hurt.

UFC 180 in Mexico was supposed to have Cain Velasquez v Fabrício Werdum. Cain got hurt.

UFC 181. After the TRT issues with Vitor Belford got straighten out, he was to face Chris Weidman for the middleweight belt. Weidman got hurt. Oh yea, in UFC 184 Feb 28th 2015, they were set to face. And Weidman is hurt again!

2014 was terrible because there was NO fight from the Heavyweight Champ. NO Anderson Silva. 1 fight from their Light heavy weight champ Jon Jones, and that was against someone most casual fans are not familiar with. 1 fight from their Middleweight champ, Weidman. You know, the guy that took Anderson Silva out of the game. And 2 fights from Ronda Rousey. The UFC has been building up Conor McGregor well, but 1 upcoming star fighting tomato cans and jobbers does not equal the amount of bona fide stars not facing each other.

2007 was both one of the biggest years for fighters testing positive for steroids as well as the end of the Japanese organization Pride FC. Pride FC did not test for drugs and there are a number of reports from their former fighters that many of them had to fight injured or lose their position with the company. There were not a lot of fighters caught on vitamin S from 2008-2014 because TRT was a loophole. But with the amount of stars coming back this year off of a number of injuries, how much longer will fans and fighters have to wait until the UFC works tighter with the athletic commissions to convey the proper information of drug testing to the public?

I wanted this blog out a few days ago but I felt the need to watch the 49th Super Bowl first before I finished writing this.

I hoped everyone was happy with watching the game, the commercials and a half time event that was a kin to a mushroom trip. Seriously, there was no need for all that, especially from performers that do not have current hits (Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliot) or an overlapping demographic with football fans (Katy Perry).

Let’s get into it. Keep in mind I do not give a fuck about your team and everything I say is true. If any of this information is new to you, then click the links below. Once you see the horrors of what this game produces it is then up to you if you want to continue watching it or not. Are the NFL owners a group of pimps that with the help of the media, both conservative and liberal, confused the masses with external and internal conflicts the league has with itself and the players they use? I’ll let you decide. But the answer is yes. 

Everything wrong with the game of football is the dark mirror to everything wrong with America.

I. The double talk. The NFL wants to present itself as compassionate, but the sport in it of itself must breed players to be aggressive and violent. And just by the nature of the game, basic primal instincts that are linked closer to barbarianism must be nurtured. It’s a game that says violence is the answer. Well, until it gets bad PR. I know that combat sports have nearly the same motto. However, fighters don’t fight once a week. FUCK. The current UFC Heavyweight Champion, Cain Velasquez barely fights once a year! I don’t care how many Anti-“NAME THE CURRENT PROBLEM” PSA’s the NFL dishes out once every few weeks/months, there are 13 games a week, 11 of them on church days and each game is about 3-3.5 hours of commentary that praises players for their physical aggression. Its not a a wife beater is going to stop hitting his wife because some NFL player said it not good to do so. PSA's from the NFL only serve to protect their image from the public by announcing that they agree with whatever the critics say at the time being.

III. Now you might be saying to yourself “Sweet Cock Cochise, at least the NFL employs Niggers which would otherwise be on the street causing crime.” Now, you may hear rapper admit that they would be criminals if it was not for rap keeping their attention away from the streets. However, that is just small potatoes. One of the biggest swallowers of the poor and uneducated is the military. Think about it. Both Football and the military have the indoctrination where aggression towards the enemy is strongly encouraged. Both institutes claim peace (or sport) but is riddled with violence, exceptions to the rule, and exceptions to the exceptions. There are rampant crimes being committed within both institutions as well as basic human rights violations. Rape charges for overseas stationed soldiers with little to no punishment in places like Japan and South Korea when found guilty. Cheerleaders sometimes not getting paid minimum wage for their work according to recent studies**. I’m not going to go point for point right now on how the U.S military and the NFL turn a blind eye when they deem necessary. Just think about the mechanics of the game of football itself, its military strategy where every play is a battle to advance or stop advancement with the game being a war. And if there is one thing that American loves, its WAR! War on Crime, War on Drugs, War on Terrorism, War on Poverty, War on anything and everything that doesn’t suit the system’s needs today. No sport goes hand in hand with the military like American Football does.

IV. You have heard all about the issues that the NFL has with player concussions. It has been explained better by medical experts in newspapers, blogs, vlogs, and other media outlets than I ever could explain it. Not because my grammar is poor, but because I don’t really have an interest enough in the sport to backtrack all those findings. So I will not harp on the topic. Instead I’ll harp on the root of the problem, that American football is the worst form of capitalism incarnate. If these motherfuckers could find an 83 year old woman that could run a 4 40 in a decent time, they would suit that Golden Girl bitch up and place her on the field pronto. You see, it doesn’t matter who gets hurt or why ( really not really, more on that later) all that matters is that defenses are penetrated and points are scored. Unlike combative sports where fights can end once enough damage is dealt to the opponent, football keeps going on until a clock runs out, thus increasing the chances for more unnecessary injuries with each play. You might think that other sports that run on the clock have the same risk that football does and you are right. However, the players from the NFL agree with me to the point that they usually fake an injury in their version of the All-Star game, The Pro Bowl. ***

V. This game is flat-out racist. I’m sure you know this guy and everything he has done…

The media has played up these events quite nicely. Violent Black NFL players have violent habits outside of the NFL. WHO WOULD HAVE FUCKING GUESS THAT?

But how much have you heard about the multi sexual assault offender Ben Roethlisberger? Go the pages if “Big Rapist Ben” whose social punishment was a cameo in The Dark Knight Raises, a host on WWE Raw, and his own BBQ sauce. That ho in Tahoe got to taste the chef’s special sauce even if she and other(s) didn’t want to.

What about that Aaron Hernandez guy? He’s a Patriot that promotes gang violence and is convicted of murder right now. There has been such little dialogue about a player kills people compared to a guy who punched a girl. Sorry feminist, those two things don’t equal up. One nigger had light skin and killed 2 people; the other had dark skin and punched someone whom he later made up with. Aaron has been a forgotten memory for sometime in the media now. Even with his team going to the Super Bowl and that is with the controversy the Patriots had as to how they got the to the big game in the first place.****Hell, the only reason that Ray Rice is still not a hot topic is because he didn’t satisfy enough fantasy football advocates this season.

Domestic violence is no surprise when we are talking about people groomed for violence at a young age. I’m not saying that all football players act like this. Really, few do. But understand that nether we as a nation or the NFL as a league have not done anything towards developing an off switch for occupations that require honed flight or fight instincts.

From and offensive standpoint, the game is contingent on getting the biggest Black guys to protect the White man. Yes, there are Black QB’s sometimes, but if you study the history of slavery in the West, most of the time the true slave masters who hand pick a few natives to be the figure heads of the plantation. That is what Black QB’s are in the NFL, house niggers. Remember, this is a 9-10 billion dollar industry we are talking about when it comes to the NFL and it’s a charity organization. Just like when the lazy white people gave blacks a free boat ride and housing to the land of the free. Yes, I said lazy. The bulk of the plantation were in the south and those fucks are so far from raising again that they let a Negro in the White House 2x!

There are no black owners in football even though the game is a little under 70% black. It a charity organization, shouldn’t just anyone be able to create their own branch from within? Racist names like The Redskins are still around. Nothing happens because the owners of the team found a test set of Native Americans that just said it’s ok to use that name with not committee to back that up. It’s kind of like if you went to a pornstar who claims that women can be slutty and used that paintbrush to color all women that way. FUCK THAT SHIT!

The NFL is a dark mirror of unadulterated capitalism at its finest. The league constantly speaks in double talk by presenting players are role models then having to explain violence that players commit when things go wrong. The convolution of their sponsorships between the league and the individual players boils down to the league saying that the slaves can have sponsors when they say it’s OK and not have sponsors when the nigger is getting to uppity. 

We as a nation need to really consider what messages are we sending with this game and with the league. Too many crimes are getting overlooked base on political agenda while others are so overblown that they become a distraction to not only other aspects of the game, but to newsfeeds as a whole. More and more, people are starting to wake up towards the horrors that this game produces both intentionally and unintentionally. I don’t think that this game is going anywhere in my life time, but changes are needed and the problems this sport has must be addressed.

*Never think that the word Nigger is limited to Black people in America. There are plenty White, Latin, and Asian niggers of this world. In another later entry, I will further explain that anyone that does not own a business or businesses, a resource or resources, or property/land while in debt to the government or national bank(s) is a nigger.

WWE Royal Rumble 2015 review.

Well, there is no chance of HBK, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio , Vince type of Royal Rumble with Miz and R-Truth coming out as #1 and #2. No one knew the song K-Kwik was singing. He has been dancing and rapping his entire career. No progression from the days of being Road Dogg’s road dogg. At least he is not yelling like he did in his early TNA days.

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THIS TEAM WOULD HAVE FAILED???????

    Bubba ray gets a good reaction from the crowd but there is no Devon. Don’t worry, R-Truth is black and Devon is black so its OK. Glad to see Bubba get a pop(crowd making noise indicating that they care about what they are seeing). He can be a upper mid card as a singles wrestler, but wearing the 3D uniform only makes the fans wished that Devon was there.

Wyatt Family Reunion. Could have went somewhere as a sub story, because how they been book separately has taken them straight no where.  No Dudley Boyz, no Wyatt's as a unit. However, Bray is starting to look strong. Doubtful he will win, but sometimes that is not the most important thing (BOOtista-Roman Reigns Royal Rumble last year. More on that later).

The Bogey Man comes out. Dude has to be getting close to 60! Get’s out the Rumble soon enough. Cool seeing Bray and The Bogey Man in the ring at the same time. Kinda wished they went all out at got………………………..

  Sin Cara comes out. Now, wasn’t he fired? Is this a big return? Crowd didn’t think so and I don't know. Bray takes out the trash and has the audience sing-a-long with him. He is the start of the 1st third of the Rumble by far.

#10 is Daniel Bryan. This is interesting because he and Bray have history steaming from last year when DB lost to Bray Wyatt rather cleanly.

#14 is DDP. Still in good shape. That DDP Yoga is the truth!

  #15 is a big hitter, Rusev. Not expecting him to win, but look strong and he does. Kingston comes in a little later and once again avoids getting eliminated in the most unique way. Kingston needs to win a few Royal Rumbles or Battle Royals to further the gimmick. Otherwise, what is the point?

#19 Roman Reigns. Decent pop. And now I’m starting to notice that really, there have been no major pops. This has been a very, very fast Royal Rumble and really little has happened so far. A few finishing moves and at this point, there has not been more that 5 guys in the ring at once. It does not feel Royal at all.

The Big Guy, Ryback comes out at #23 and Ambrose comes out at #25. There are some faces in the ring now. I thinking that one will have that clean house moment. Doesn’t mean that they have to eliminate everyone, just hit their L1(L1 is the button that performs a finisher on the SMAKCDOWN video games for the Playstation). Still this is not happening.

The crew that I was with is in spectator-assumption mode.

List of what we thought was going to happen now that 25 guys have been picked and nothing epic has happened yet.

Undertaker comes out, cleans house, get hit a few times, and then wins. So that he could avenge the lost to Lesnar last year. We are thinking that this has a 70% chance of happening.

Randy Orton comes back from an injury, spams L1, drags out the ending, wins. Maybe a 15% chance of happening.

Cena comes out, does what we say Orton would do. Under 5% chance of happening

Reminding 10% is that someone already in the ring will win it. Roman is there but not performing his signature moves. However, he is the biggest face in the ring which gives him the edge.

#29 is the man to be the last one who will get eliminate AKA, the biggest loser, The Big Show! Chris Benoit!

#30 is Dolph Ziggler. The man that was the Sole Survivor of last year’s Survivor Series. Things are intriguing. Now everyone in the room is thinking that they are going to really pull the trigger on Dolph. Its finally getting exciting. Boy came a long way.

Big Show and Kane are the ones cleaning house with only Show's L1 usage.  We get down to our last 4….or so. Show/Kane = The Corporate Ministry re-imaging if the Corporate Ministry were really old. They square off against the face members of The Shield.

Ambrose is the first gone. Reigns, for the second time in 2 years is part of the last 3 guys. Its known to everyone that Big Show and Kane are not going to win. Brock has made Show is bitch on many occasions and Kane is Kane. Thankfully, Reigns victory comes quick.

No one cares. I look at the clock to see if the Royal Rumble is shorter than a RAW program. It is, by a lot.

Show and Kane beat up Reigns. The Rock comes out to the biggest pop since the “Yes Man”. Standard moves take place. Spine Buster, People’s Elbow, Rock Bottom.

You can see on Reigns face that he doesn’t know what is in for. Those cheers from last year were because people didn’t want to see Drax go to Wrestle Mania 30, not because Roman Reigns was the best choice. People in 2014 KNEW that having a Heel vs Hell main event would have be disastrous.

  Dolph could have worked, especially after Survivor Series. Willpower vs Raw Strength. There is a story in that.

Rock and Reigns point at the WrestleMaina logo. People are starting to get pissed. Rock walks out and.... Hold up, Rusev is still in this some how.

There needs to be a time limit as to how long you can be out of the ring if you did not go over the top rope. It had to be at least 9 minutes or more. Seth Rollins would have done something like this, not Rusev, at least not for that amount of time.

HHH comes out to make faces. Little is conveyed.

Without punking out HHH, Reigns just walks and celebrates his win.

The last minutes of the Rumble, not the PPV(for Chris Benoit sake)  had a lot and a little going on.

Cena saying that he could not beat Brock. This could have been touching or a good time for a change in character. In 80’s style Rusev using his 80’s gimmick to interrupt a Cena promo in pre recorded 80’s style segment. Is this the big way to build up the Co-Co-Co main event at WM? How is everyone so clean and showed up minutes after getting eliminated? Why do the other heels backing Rusev care if he fights Cena or not?

Rock has to do Roman Reigns promo for him :(. Sorry Rock, but just like that time you tried to sell me that Billy Gun was going to have a chance at beating you all those Summer Slams ago, I just am not buying it.

Remember how I said there was little L1 pushing in the Rumble? Well, this fight had the opposite problem. Brock takes 3 back to back to back Fuck U’s AA’s. A curb stomp and a Fuck U AA from earlier. That said, it was a fast pace, high action match.

Royal Rumble starts off with showing us a bunch of guys that wore out their welcome in 1999 AT THE EARLIEST, beat up a new tag team. Chris Benoit!!!!

New Age Outlaws vs The Ascension.

The Ascension should be been a squash match. No one cared about the NAO. They are def NOT new age, they never were.

Miz and Mizdow vs The Usos.

Every match with the Miz and Mizdow is more about their dynamic than the interaction with the opponents. For those that don’t know Miz’s character is that he is an actor and Mizdow is his stunt double. However, Mizdow is a face and Miz is a heel. No big spots, just a match that could have happen on RAW.

How to make Big Show and Kane work in 2015

This Corporation shit could work if the WWE paralleled it to the problems that corporations have today. Think about all the nepotism in the work force. Have someone like Daniel Bryan have to fight Rusev, Bray Wyatt, and then Seth Rollins to be the #1 contender but have Big Show or Kane beat up an old vet or a jobber to be #1 contender. Instant heat.

  Look Big Show has never been over. EVER! At no point in time was he booked correctly. Maybe its because he is too talented. No other super big man has his talent. That talent has forced him to change from Heel to Baby Face so many times that it has neutered both his treat as a heel and Push as a Baby Face.

Do see Kane and Big Show, the biggest clowns’ pound for pound in the WWE just eliminate so many members of the younger generation was downright depressing.

WWE is not growing stars, their brand,or viewership.

Could UFC Fox 14 be the end of UFC in Sweden?

Back at UFC 102 in Portland, there were 3-4 Team Quest guys on the card. TQ is a OR based team. They all lost pretty convincingly. The UFC has yet to return to there. I think there was a pre-Zuffa owned StrikeForce event, but that was really it for OR MMA in the big time. Vegas and OR are not that far from each other, yet UFC does not want to go back for what ever the reason.

Years later, we have Fox 14. Both main card Swedes got KO/TKO bad. Corassani is not that big of a deal and was only on the main card because he is from the country. Gus on the other hand has a lot of problems now.

The UFC has hype Gus up very well. His performance against JBJ was great. However, he cannot face jobbers anymore. At some point he will have to face Evans, DC, Glover, Davis again, and Bader. He has to win now, not just because winning is everything in the UFC, but to keep interest in Sweden. Those Team Quest guys were on there way out the door when they went 0-3/0-4 in their home state. Gus is still around for the foreseeable future.

The UFC can have Gus fight Lil Nog, Rampage, or Bader and he can beat all of them.Maybe he can beat Davis in a rematch. However, in terms of getting a title shot or keeping MMA in the minds of enough Swedes, those fights won't do much.

Thoughts?

Keep in mind that Swedish fighters are 0-6 on Main Card UFC events in Sweden, 2-8 overall. But those 2 wins that Swedish fighters have are over other Swedish fighters.

Bronies Review.

Bronies, a name that should annoy me a lot more but for whatever reason doesn’t, is a mixed bag.

The 2012 documentary follows various Bronies(men that love the new version of My Little Pony) and displays their love for the cartoon.  Taking place mainly in the States, the doc shows the love that the cartoon gets in the West. Germany, Israel, and the UK have Bronies. Well, the guy from Israel admits that he is the only one he knows in his country that gives a fuck about the show.

I became interested in seeing this film because I saw some pretty neat Pony dolls done in comic book hero costumes. I found about that when watching The Nostalgia Chick(she give a better history than the movie)

This review is going to be just like the documentary, a little disjointed.

This review is NOT going to be just like the documentary, a little too long.

I really wanted to start off with the positives. 1st off, having a bunch of dudes talk about their love for “My Little Pony” could come off as a mockumentary. Thankful it does not. Just to let you know, the love for the show is not about a bunch of people looking up old cartoons from the 80s, no, all of this love is about the latest rendition of cartoon entitled “Friendship is Magic”.

I saw a different show called “Friendship is Magic”. I call it Naruto. A “Fuck You Naruto!” piece is coming.

It would take a lot for me to try something with that title. Not because it girly, but because its childish. In the first few minutes of hearing that, you’ll get use to it. Once again, that phrase does not get shoveled in your face that much.

That holding back on certain aspects is really a theme that I loved about this doc. There are certain instances where Bronies tell stories of facing hate because they love something so feminine. There are also people that they interview who have faced great adversity in their lives and My Little Pony. All of that is only touch briefly upon and I think that the reason for it was not to showcase their struggles but to display that what the Ponies represents as a beacon in which to focus on during their hardships.

Now, here comes that sloppiness.

The documentary has a beginning that is tied to the middle that is in no way tied to the end.

We start off with a cartoon explaining the existence of the film. Apparently, “Friendship is Magic”(FIM) is basically My Little Pony for people that do not like My Little Pony. Just like the current Transformer movies are for people that do not like TransformersG1. And how Young Thug is a rapper for people that do not like rap. Cut to the people talking about themselves and the love of FIM.

We have mostly males, thus the BRO in Bronies, but there is one German girl who has an interesting story. She loves FIM to the point that she makes custom Ponies for herself and to sell. She also has a BF that is into the show as well.

  In the middle of the film, there is another cartoon explaining that women too are responsible for the surge in the subculture. The film doesn’t follow any women in detail after that. There are a few couples towards the end but they are given too little time to go off about their love of FIM. Wasted opportunity. At the end, the movie just kinda stops. You’ll think that there would be a cartoon for the end, there is not.

So that is the 1st,2nd, and 3rd act breakdown. Let’s get into some of that voices and people behind the scenes.

Nearly all the voice actors admit that they barley gave a fuck about the cartoon. I love the honest. One voice actor goes on to say that the show is owned by the fans now. Not literally, but you know what I mean. The voice actress who does the main characters voice is very pleasant on the eyes.

  Its hard to rate this because this documentary SCREAMS lack of budget. I don’t mean that it looks cheap, I mean that the viewer can clearly see the idea that Bronies is trying to convey and CLEARLY see that it ran out of juice. It is simply 30 minutes too long.

If there is one thing I did not take away from this is the roster. There are a lot of Ponies and only the Purple gets attention yet they all have powers. It’s even unclear on to how the powers work. Is the Purple pony the combination of all the other ponies? Or is she simply the leader of the other ponies? Either, its like Power Rangers where they have to come together to be sum greater than its parts. Once again, the lack of history. I would like to have seen fans from the older generations of My Little Pony give their take on FIM. Does not happen.

I’m going to have to give this 6.5/10. The material that the presented could have worked against the movement i.e “Trekkies”.

It really presents the Bronies and the FIM culture in good and interesting light. However, it is very disjointed and loses focus as to what its trying to be. At first, it’s a celebration of a subculture but then it becomes about a convention, 2 of them in different countries. There are 4 people that we watch go to the American convention that do not interact with each other. Then 2 groups of people at the European convention that do not interact with each other. Wouldn’t the theme of FIM promote good feelings and have the feature interviewees’ talk to each other at least once? That said, I do recommend it.

Side note. There is a fucking light show done while normal convention center light are on yet a music segment with the lights off. I would SMH but I’m unsure if there were at the same location and for that I SMH.

Side Note 2. I imagine that this show could be great high. I really imagine that if you were at a rave and images of the cartoon with its popping colors would really be great.

Just how liberial are you?

Society and its ill's and double standards for both sex and race is very complex. So much so that a series of books, videos, jokes,vlogs, blogs,and lectures could never really grasp it all.

I think that we have been trying to understand ourselves in an inefficient way for some time. Perhaps being exclusive and is better than being inclusive on such a big ball of wax.

A test that could encompass all of our fears of those we care about and want to see success. It has to be someone other than ourselves.

Before I get into the question that I would like you to think about and answer internally, I need to explain a few things that may seem like a tangent at first, but trust. There is a point.

Hollywood has created the idea of finding true love. Meaning that you are to match up with the person that you most likely to be happy with. The changed the world, literally. Before movies, marriage in all cultures in history have been economic based.

Africa had men giving crops to the fathers of the daughters they wanted to marry.

Europe and Native American Indians was the same, but instead it was usually cattle

In Korea, if a woman wanted to marry a high status man, her family would have to pay in real estate, money, or crops.

Before the industrial revolution, women were looked at as burdens. They are not physically strong enough to do the work load a man can do. China's current male/female ratio is rooted from this reality.

Recently, I had a discussion with some hardcore liberals that plan on kids, this was a married couple, btw. The wife is pro choice and has strong views about female's sexual liberation.

Then we talked about which sex they would prefer to have first. We all agreed that girls are better to have first because they will take care of the little brother or little sister. Boys will protect their little bros and sis's but that is only after years of fighting each other.

The question that i hit them with was this.

"If you were to have a daughter, what dick are you absolutely not OK with going inside of her?" 

If you are a woman reading this. Think about the most lustful, animistic sex you have had. Think about the times when sex was not fun, not romantic, and used more as a band-aid to try and help a relationship that was already doomed.

I can tell you that it will only fuck up you daughter more than you can imagine. I have lived in a few openly racist communities where parents told what types of men their daughters should not associate with. Once that daughter has a pleasant experience with "the bad man" she will have internal conflicts with her teachings(your bullshit) and her experiences. That will only lead to more sexual experimentation, meaning more and more potential dicks she will want to taste test that you would not approve of.

If that question about what types of men your daughter should not fuck haunts you, and it should. Ask yourself another question.

Throne of Atlanist Review. DC's best Marvel movie

Animation is standard and when I said that for a DC animated film, I mean great. One gripe is that I feel that the colors do not pop enough. Everything is a shade too dim for my liking. The dim shade I’m talking about would have worked wonders if only done in night time scenes and underwater scenes. Due to the dark tones of Superman’s and Wonder Woman’s costume in the New 52, this is a very blue and purple film

Great non chemistry between the Super Seven members. They do not hate it other and there are clicks within the team. However, Batman’s presence does not really belong. When the team is trying find out who attacked the ship, Batman had most of the answers. That’s cool and all, but Wonder Woman and GL both have military training and could have negated Bat’s presence.

That said, this DVD needs to sell and people want to see the most realistic character stand to up gods, knows all martial arts ever, is handsome, and a billionaire, the world’s greatest scientist, the world’s greatest detective without using clues and is conveniently linked to sidekicks sometimes, and is conveniently in a crumbling relations to build another relationship and have all the answers ready to go. Just like you and me.

50/50 on Author. Sometimes he is portrayed as confident, other times mumbling in the 1st half of the movie. Unsure if he is drunk all the time or needs to be in the water. I would rather have him smoke and make it where he only thought he could talk to fish because he was high

Mera-Author scene really changed the tone of the action a little before the half way point. Everything before it was punches and kicks. This shocking in some ways.

There is a good scene that explains that Author knew he was different as a kid. But to accept that “I’m King of WaterWorld, Seaworld where we dump out Plastic, Atlantis after one conversation with a person he just met is a little too quick for me. And the sequence after that makes it worse.

What Shazam does when he attacks the FootClan, Puddies, Sea urchins has a lot of potential for fights between him and other water based DC Hero’s/Villains.Will that match up be awesome? Keep reading to find out.

When Cyborg delivers the message that millions of people will die from a tidal wave, he does so in the more unemotional way possible. Is this because of bad scene construction or making the audience understand that Cy is become more machine than man? We don’t know because of the movie doesn’t give us that moment where the League understands the gravity of the message or the internal issues with the person giving the message.

You know, betrayal and politics can be a tripe subject that usually either to mundane or glossed over to be interesting.  This movie does well to avoid both traps.

Negative: What does the Not not Ocean Master want? What does he have to gain by taking over the land? There is a line that explains that the king, his father, died from collateral damage from the last movie Justice League War. I can't remember if that in the film or not.

N2: It seems like after every fight scene, there was a growth in character that we did not get to see. Gets annoying with Mera and Author after the Kraken battle.

N3: How in the hell does the US military know of Atlantis?

Positive: Strong female cast. Loved all of them. Best off it was not forced or contrived. They Mera and WW looked equal standing next to their male counterparts. This is how you make strong female characters, by not saying they are strong, but by having them display strength.

P2: Superman and Mera looked really strong.

P3: The pacing of the action. Steaks were raised as the movie went on. Never a moment one character could easily solve all the problems.

Side note: both black characters have to say “damn”.

Nice Steel cameo either way as well as small but needed character progression from Cyborg.

SN 2: The sound effects that Mera makes with traveling via water. SuperFriends, YAY!

SN 3: They made Shazam look like a bitch yet again. BOO!

SN 4; Fantastic call back to Samuel Jackson’s speech in………. man, I don’t  want to spoil it, but it was about the sea.

This movie juggles Author’s place in the world, Atlantis’s politics, and the League gelling as a team all very well. Nothing seems to dominate and there are no glaring plot holes

  Overall

This is DC best Marvel movie. It gets all the heroes right. Author is a fish out of water character(GET IT!)  that knows what to say and do no matter how inexperience his is in dealing with the problems that confronts him. The action is done well. The major negative is that the villains are pretty swallow and have questionable motives. DC strength is usually in the villain department. But heroes are what sells the DVD's, toys, and other merchandise. Cy is starting to look more Justice League and less Teen Titans in my eyes. DC has been working on that since post Infinite Crisis.

Batman did not hog up screen time. Everyone outside of Shazam looked powerful. It’s a little too self aware in my opinion but Aquaman is just famous enough to get away with the leaps in his character development. It was more like Author knew what his destiny was and feel into place. Yes, there are things would have like a more explanation on, but exciting film with visceral action and great pacing in terms of the main plot and sub plots. 8.5/10

Jim Jones. Dipset’s right knee. Recently had issues with Dame Dash over money. Instagram beef.

Jay-Z. Beyonce’s husband. Dipset hater .Owner of the 40/40 club where no Dipset music is to be played.

Remember Magna Carta? I wished I didn’t. Fucking trash! However, Jay-Z got paid well to sell the album not to you the customer, but to Samsung using an app. Unlike the latest U2 album, people with a Samsung phone had the OPTION to download his music. Which in turn recorded everything you did on your phone. I have not and known of Jigga man since the days of him rapping fast and sporting a flattop .  According to him, the site wanted an interview but in Illuminati Hagen Dazs fashion, hood wink Flex in the ‘hood to get tech info.

This has lead to diss song by Dipset against Jay-Z, again. After all the back handed remarks made by 50 cent and then Drake, its nice to see some name brand rappers going at Hov.

 There has been too much Jay-Z dick licking/and too may niggas on a mission doing their best Roc-a-Fella rendition/too rough motherfuckers, I got my suspicion these sharks don’ want to be in a pool with other sharks nigga. Listen.

2006 “You gotta love it”was perhaps the worst Jay-Z diss song since Jay O Felony **. However, it was the most honest. “Ether” by Nas was one of the best songs, forget diss songs, of all time, but it had a lot of embellishments in it. 9 years have passed since Jay-Z has beefed with his former label mates. Jigga won because he never really got back at them.  At the time, he could afford to do that. Radio stations, esecpailly on the West coast was not feeling Cam at the time. I remember hearing the world premier of “You gotta love it” while delivering pizzas and having the DJ, Julio G stop the song in the middle of the 2nd verse after the Peter Pan line. This time around, the most influential DJ is backing up Dipset, it would be in Jay-Z best interest to address the situation. Not necessarily make a response song, but clear the air.

Kinda wired seeing Flex stand so close to Cam’ron with his ties to Dame Dash because Dame changed the way I saw Flex after that interview with Combat Jack***.

I want this all to end because I want to see a Jay-Z retirement tour. However, that tour is worthless without Dame Dash on stage. I don’t give a fuck about his wife and her 1000 dancers in the background.

Either way, if you were a teenager in the 90s, this should excite you. Beefs today are just too damn fake.
