Kobe has been deemed one to watch out for in the upcoming year, as he’s becoming more well known for his ability to give his listeners a form of acceptable emotional release, basically the type of music you can put on and just stare into space to as the cigarette in your hand burns slowly, your thoughts lingering on the horizon; the story of your life unfolding right before your eyes. Sometimes that’s a lot to handle, so we must always step back and appreciate the artists like Codeine Kobe who manage to put such expressions and thoughts into art. After the ending of an unfruitful management deal forced Kobe completely restarting his career from scratch in May of 2017, Codeine Kobe has begun to solidify himself as a force in the emo/goth hip hop subgenres.
