Jousting at the festival to impress your lady love!!!
The spell master: God damn it, where on earth is my magic crystal ball????
The suspiciously hungry and round bug:
What is this thing

the sort of prince-type i would have dreamed of marrying WHEN I WAS ABOUT 13!!!!
Intense yearning 🥰🫣
I feel the yearning from the women from the left. She worships her wife/girlfriend. Every woman deserves to be worshiped.
I should be doing more to appreciate the lack of marvel movies in today's popular culture. I once yearned for marvel movies to have this level of irrelevance. They used to feel almost ozymandian, like an empire that had no beginning and no end. and now tony stark iron man is naught but two vast and trunkless legs of stone.
If Rook saved Minrathous, then later in Treviso Neri de Acutis will thank them for it, because his niece is one of the Shadows.
Neri de Acutis: Shame you missed out on the dragon excitement we had, although I'm glad you helped the Shadow Dragons. Rook: You're not upset I chose to go to Minrathous? Neri de Acutis: Of course not. If the Shadow Dragons need a minder, who am I to deny them? Neri de Acutis: Seriously though: I have a niece in the Dragons. Thank you for your help, wherever you give it.
Although the game never reveals who it is, hints can be found in the files. The character file of one of the Shadow Dragons, Marisa, mentions that she is Neri's contact.
Character Description: A lookout for the Shadow Dragons and contact for Antivan Crow Neri de Acutis. She keeps an eye on the situation in Docktown.
Marisa can be found in the Shadow Dragons' Safehouse, she also appears briefly during the Shadows of Minrathous quest.
There's not much conversation with her, and the subject of the Crows never comes up. However, in the cut content, she was supposed to have a small part in the Crow's quest, where her relation to the de Acutis family was mentioned. She's also hinted at in banter between Neri and Noah that was cut from the game. There will be another post about it.

"being aro and ace is the most isolating thing I will ever experience"

user scripts for AO3 relationships
If you're someone who wants to be able to find (or avoid) ships while reading on AO3, odds are good that a fan coder out there has created a user script that could help you out.
User scripts are similar to extensions. You add them to your browser to automatically adjust web pages for you. User scripts allow you the opportunity to personalize them, however, which is wonderful for things like AO3 filters.
Here are a few that might be worth a look:
AO3 multishipper saviour - if you want to read about a particular character in a relationship without specifying any other person. The relationships can be specified to be romantic or platonic or both.
AO3: Reorder Ship Tags - Automatically reorders relationship tags on work blurbs so romantic ships (/) always appear before platonic ships (&).
AO3 Relationship/Character Highlighter - highlights the ship/character you’re looking for if they appear in the first two relationship/character tags.
AO3 romantic relationship savior - hides all romantic relationships in sort & filter page that has "/"
AO3 First Relationship Tag Filter - toggle on the script if you're browsing a relationship tag and all the works that don't have that tag as their first tag will be hidden. Works on both romantic (/) and platonic (&) relationships.
AO3 relationship savior - hides works that have too many relationships in them.
AO3 Only Show Primary Pairing - will hide fics that don't have the designated pairing listed first in the tags.
AO3 Only Show Primary Pairing (Auto) - The difference between this and Neeve's script is that it automatically detects the primary pairing, little to no configuration needed.
AO3 Show every pairing except THAT one - Remove relationship tags from script which you do not want to read.
Feel free to add more in the notes!
I needed this. The filtering is a PAIN on AO3, and you can't save it. 😮💨
If you want to save your filters, there are two ways to go about it.
If you do the same search/filter every time, just bookmark the results page with your browser. The URL contains all of your filters, so every time to visit that URL, you'll get the pre-filtered, updated results.
If you use the same filters on different searches (e.g. always filter out Character Death in every fandom), then you can use a bookmarklet to run your filters for you. Instructions on how to set it up can be found here.
I think the solution to kids on the Internet is to have specific, kid friendly spaces on the Internet. Kids wouldn't come across "adult content" on YouTube if barbie dot com still had flash games and this is a hill I will die on.
Oh! Then I know the EXACT person you should be mad at! Michael O'Rielly! He's the one that gutted the Children's Programming Rules, which covered internet as well as television.
HELLO?
#so the death of the Saturday morning cartoon is THIS motherfuckers fault?????
Indeed it is! The FCC controls how much of broadcasting has to cater to children and that includes how educational that programming has to be, and exactly how much and in what way you are allowed to advertise to kids. That's why for the entire 90s and up to the early 00s, kids shows had shorter commercial breaks, and ads that talked about a website had to say "ask your parents before going online", and those websites had to be non-commercial--i.e. they could not be shops, and could not have any way you could spend money or were encouraged to spend money. That's why Barbie.com was flash games, and O'Rielly LIFTING that ban is why Barbie.com now takes you directly to a storefront instead.
If you're mad about Saturday Morning Cartoons, dark patterns in ads targeted at children, online protections for kids, or wondering why educational children's shows aren't as much of a thing as they used to be, get mad at the FCC and the person in charge of it who is gutting the Children's Brodcasting Rules (sometimes called the Kid Vid Rules), because those rules control all of that!
While O'Rielly is responsible for gutting the rules in 2019, he was replaced in 2020 by Nathan Simington as head of the FCC, and Simington resigned in June of this year. The post remains vacant as of the time of this writing (August 31, 2025).
And a side note: Things like KOSA and SCREEN and all those other censorship bills that use "think of the children" are not going to protect children at all; if you want to protect kids online, there is already a way to do that it's called the Kid Vid Rules and the FCC is the one that can update and change them to keep up with the times! It doesn't need a congress vote, it already got voted on in 1990!
