"That's right! All the way from Sinnoh!" Looker was gleaming. It wasn't often someone was this excited just to hear where he was from.

"Ah, Johto! A beautiful place. Though I was there briefly some time ago due to some concerns with Team Rocket, my assistance was short lasting. Seems some kids had it under control! I will say, it's a beautiful place though."

"Hmm... How long I've been at this? ..Well, it must have been at least 18 years by now! ...Or maybe closer to 20?"

Looker laughed, giving Silver a hardy pat on the back. "Good one, Magikarp! You really have a sense of humor like no other!"

Lyra listened, nodding at every word Looker said. The life of a policeman sure did sound like an adventure.

"Wooow .. that’s really admirable, Mister Looker! You must feel really proud of yourself at the end of the day! It sounds like you’ve done a lot of stuff as a policeman!"

Her eyes widened. “You’ve been all over the world?! How rad is that?!”

"Ah, yes, I have! Very rad, as you say! The world's a really beautiful place. It's incredible, how the Pokemon of each region vary so greatly. Don't you think? My home region is Sinnoh, actually! Where might you be from, Overalls?"

"I thought you’d think so!" She beamed, giving the man two thumbs up. "Ooh, I get it! Top secret stuff, huh? Well Looker’s a cool name anyways!"

"So is police stuff fun? Do you get to do a lotta things?"

Standing tall, Looker placed his hands on his hips. He had to look cool for the new students, after all.

"Police work is very difficult, but rewarding! I can't say that every day is fun, but there's nothing that makes me happier than when I've helped a person in need or brought a tough case to an end!"

He closed his eyes, showing a dignified smile. "I travel all over the world, and see all it has to show me. It's an incredible opportunity."

"That’s a good point. Instead, why don’t you tell me everything you know about Team Rocket? That way, I’ll be prepared the next time I go to Kanto."

"Ah, no can do! Not yet, anyway. But don't worry! We'll get you enrolled in a training program with yours truly as your instructor, and in 30 days flat you'll learn everything you need to know! ...Er, or was it 30 months? Years? No, it can't be..."

"Oh my. If it isn't my favourite detective! Are you here to stick your nose into places it doesn't belong again?"

"Well, look who it is. I’ll have you know that the nose of the law is welcome everywhere! Unless there’s suspicious activity, and then that nose knows it belongs!”

Looker gave a proud nod. “I should be the one asking questions here. I hope you’re staying out of trouble, Malva.”

"I’ll bet. But you know, I bet I can help you out. I’m from Kanto and I know a lot about them as a result. If you let me see the information you’ve collected on them, I can help you fill in the holes."

"Hmm, how nice of you to offer, Red Magikarp! But I'll have to pass. What kind of teacher would I be if I took information from a student?" he laughed. "I could never!"

"Oh, man! Looker out for Overalls! It’s ge-ni-us! But yes, hi, hello, nice to meet you Mister Looker! I’m Lyra - I mean Overalls - !! I mean Lyra!”

Looker let out a loud laugh. This girl was clearly going somewhere in life. He clapped his hands together, smiling wide. "Good one! You're a natural! While we're doing introductions, my name is-" he paused.

"Hm..." he scratched his chin. "I always mess that part up... Anyway, just call me Looker! My real name isn't important."

"Red Magikarp? Sounds great. If you’re in Interpol, you must have a lot of information on the regional crime synidates, right?"

"Hmmm, yes that's right! You're very smart, aren't you? I'm one of the best there is! Naturally I know all there is to know on these subjects!"
