“Relax.” He ordered, his voice sharp. “I haven’t done anything but thaw you out, and if you’ll give me a breather to reply, I’ll explain.” Galen growled, hooking his sabers back to his belt. “I want you to come with me. The Republic you knew is dead, and the galaxy has been under attack for almost two decades, now. I’ll explain more later, but we’re not safe here. I need you to come back to my ship.”

Two decades…

Her knees shook at the prospect of a world that had forgotten her, of her children growing up without her. It couldn’t be possible, it had to be some kind of filthy trick.

“I’m supposed to relax when you tell me that? Why should I trust you? For all I know, you’re in Palpatine’s pockets!” she snapped furiously. “I’m not going anywhere with you. Not until… not until I speak to Obi-Wan Kenobi or Bail Organa!”

They would never fall, never betray the true cause of democracy. Not like… No, she wouldn’t let herself think of him. “Those are my terms.”

His fury ignited, still a tool that held him captive to his past. "The only one lining the pockets of the Emperor is Lord Vader, and both of them can burn on Mustafar for all I care." He snapped back with clenched fists. "What good it'll do you... they're dead, your highness, but if you'd like to wait longer for confirmation, I'm more than happy to leave you behind."

He was no diplomat, no man for fancy words or reassurances. He had a job, and he was going to do it, even if he couldn't take credit for a second of it. Like the woman before him, he too was believed dead. "Your terms don't work, and the temple around us is already in ruin. Good luck with that."

There is only one character I like more than Galen, and that's because Finn is an absolute sweetheart. (he's tied with Young Jedi Knights Jacen, though. I love his wisecracking antics.) oh, man, I'm so bummed, too. Over all of it. Galen is amazing, and complex, and wonderful.

Galen walked hesitantly, bathed in the blue light of his dual blades, wary about what might be calling out to him. His prowess in the ways of the Force was both a blessing, and a curse at times, but as he drew nearer, it appeared more like a blessing. Rather than duracrete, the block was carbonite, containing a rather beautiful woman inside.

Former Queen of Naboo Padmé Amidala. He recognized her from PROXY’s lectures on the Republic, and the failures of the Senate. She was, if he remembered correctly, an old friend of his former master. That meant, with her freed, the Rebel Alliance could gain an upper hand against the Empire, and a valuable political mind. He hardly thought twice about it, clicking a few buttons and waiting impatiently for the woman to unthaw.

Her fist finally struck something new; it was a face by the feel of it. In other circumstances, she might have apologized, but at the moment, her defenses were engaged, prepared for the worst despite her physical limitations.

“Who are you?” she shouted. “What have you done, where am I?” Anakin, where are you? “Give me an answer, damn you!” She reached for the blaster that should have been at her hip but found none. “What do you want from me?”

It would be as respect as he was. "We could easily make a rendezvous to a neutral planet. If we travel all the way to the base, it's going to loo suspicious. If you think for a second the First Order isn't monitoring space travel, you're wrong. Blockades, waystations, docking parties, they've done them since before Revan's time, now will be no different."

What I say: Reylo is disgusting, unecessary and wrong. Why would anyone support this??

What I mean: Kylo Ren hunted, tortured and nearly killed Rey and her friends. The idea that the main female character in this series is supposed to bounce back from that and desire Kylo because he’s sympathetic and needs redemption is ludicrous to me. Kylo Ren may very well get redemption thats fine, but it should not rest on the shoulders of an extremely unhealthy romantic relationship formed out of pain and suffering. Both these characters deserve better development and depth outside of a problematic and abusive romance. Aside from that, Reylo becoming cannon sets an example to young men and women that no matter how badly someone treats you you can and should still care for and love them. This is not a message I want portrayed to young people, and the fact that there are people who cannot see this baffels me.
