Tell us about Padme talking to Leia about Breha and Bail.
It's painful.
She loves them. She's grateful to them. She can never thank them enough for raising her daughter.
But she resents them. She hates that she didn't get to be there, that she didn't get to braid her daughter's hair, sing her to sleep, or do any of the things a parent is supposed to get to do with their child.
She would never say that to Leia. She would talk about Bail during the Clone Wars, about all the good they did together. She would talk about how if Leia had to go to anyone, there were no other parents who deserved a child to love more than Bail and Breha.
She’d cry.
