Would it really be that boring? Honestly, that wasn’t the sort of answer that Oga was expecting at all. Giving a glance at his town, since the other wealthy person he knew there was a douche, he never seen what a niceperson would do with their time. Topped with the fact, it was explained to him as plain as day. That gave the male some food for thought, a soft hum escaping him as he considered.
“If that’s what you say. You don’t know how many games I’d be on top of if I had that shot.” He replied, still to each their own. Thinking on it, he did just give his child (who was currently in lala land) a new toy companion. Now Oga felt a little obligated to at least to try returning the kindness in turn. Usually it would’ve been called a lucky break, but maturity even seems to smack the rowdiest of men.
“Say.. How about..” His voice began, only to be abruptly cut off by the pained scream of the currently tortured not too far off, the voice of a woman. This had snapped both Beel and Oga to full attention, their heads snapping towards the direction of plea of help. It was off in the maze of stone and concrete alleyways. Now of all of times for him to feel the urge to repay; now it rubbed off onto this moment too.
“Hold that thought. Something feels off in the air, n’ a gut feeling is tellin’ me its right where the trouble is. Look, I’ma have to cut this short.” The words seemed to jumble on top of the other as Beel’s tiny fingers grew a more firm hold upon Oga’s jacket. A single press of the foot had sent him barreling towards the odd signature of power. There was no doubt; it was akin to a demon’s.
Games, huh? Yuuki didn't really have a lot of time to play games since he was so busy with training, running the company and missions all the time, but they were fun. Before he could voice his opinion on the matter, as the air seemed to change. Yuuki's battle-hardened instincts told him that something was wrong, and the shrill cry of a woman somewhere in the distance just proved this. Before he could do anything, Oda was already off towards the source of the voice.
"Yeah it- huh?" Yuuki watched Oda run off. He knew it wasn't any part of his business, but that kid and Nyanmaru might be in danger. Nyanmaru would never leave his friend be if he knew they were in danger, and this was why Yuuki felt obligated to go help those two out. After all, he couldn't leave his new- dare he say it- friends, be. Well, maybe not quite friends yet, but he'd taken a liking to those people. Turning in the direction that Oda had run off to, Yuuki followed, trying to catch up to them.
"Oi," he called out. "Wait up,"
When he finally managed to catch up to them, they had already reached their destination, or so it seemed. Yuuki peeked out from behind Oda, trying to spy just who they were about to fight. The air felt strange; like it always did when Yuuki was facing another person with special powers. Except, this was another kind of strange; like the one they faced wasn't even human.
"What's going on now..." he mumbled.
