i got a cat. now should i get a bird? idk im feeling in the bird mood rn. that might be because im high enough to fly up there with it but whatever should i get one. i might

not that any bird could ever replace Fucking missile launcher (my cat). i love him as much as someone who doesnt gaf about anyone or anything can possibly love something. on that rare occasion

depends, birds are very high maintenance, they need daily socialization, training and more, it also depends on the type of bird too, how long theyll live, they also can be loud, since its your first bird id suggest one that isnt so big, they also can cost a bit to take care of, some species need specific housing and diet, they also need careful grooming.. but also most of the social species of birds need companions for their mental well being and emotional too, also some birds may suffer stress when left alone for too long

so id suggest first researching which bird you want and see if you can handle everything t hat comes with it

Oh oh oh well. it depends on the bird too but they could become more aggressive, have mood swings, scream or call more than usual, damage their feathers by plucking, REALLLY want a partner, or defy their owner, so basically they act like a human teenager, also they will molt, and if u get a female one they could lay eggs without a mate.. but dw theyre infertile - and possibly more
