Favorite piece of music form Lies of P and why?

Oooooh that’s a hard question 😭 all of them lol

I can’t choose just one, so one out of the records, boss themes, and non-record/boss music, my favorites are:

Record: Far East Princess - idk, the mix of instruments along with the waltz time signature just scratches my brain in a nice way. It feels so warm and melancholy….it sounds a bit nostalgic to me, personally. The way this record is tied to Eugénie’s questline warms my heart. I can imagine P dancing to this one :,)

Boss theme: Nameless Chaos - Legitimately one of my favorite boss music ever. It perfectly encapsulates the boss as a whole, the chaotic composition itself reflects the descent into madness and the inhuman-ness of NP. Also the distorted piano descending into the choir is one of the sickest things I’ve ever heard.

Non-record/boss music: Pianist of Krat IV - Not only is it just a beautiful piano piece in and of itself, I absolutely love that it’s a culmination of all of P’s experience being summarized and expressed through this piece. It’s so touching to see his progress from when he first plays the piano to the end, where he has finally mastered it in a way a human does. It is the most satisfying thing. And when he plays, we can hear all of his emotion go into this piece. I know P technically talks and makes sounds, but I feel like this is the closest thing we get to hearing his “voice” (like the way a singer puts all of their emotion through their song). We even see it on his face with his little expressions he makes when he plays—he’s pouring his whole heart and soul into this piece, and it never fails to get me feeling emotional.

Happier days have since been long gone, but from time to time, the puppet master leaves his nameless puppet alone, allowing for only a mere moment of respite.
