The library was by far her favorite spot in town, quiet, calm, and most importantly? Hiring. The life of a librarian may not be as exciting when compared to her last job, but she wasn’t here for exciting. She was here to lay low. And yet–despite that–she did have an application currently sitting at the police station…

She wasn’t hired anywhere yet, but that didn’t stop her from exploring, fingers tracing over the spines of books as she wandered about. One caught her eye but as she went to pull it down, almost half the shelf came with it. “Nice one, Wanda.” She sighed before bending down to start picking everything up. “This has to be a sign of bad luck or something…”

″ i could have been worse. ″ velvet offered up, hoping it would make them feel a little better. ″ besides, i’m sure a lot of people have done this once in their life. ″ the faunus grabbed a couple books off the ground.

link stares at the sign that clearly reads ’welcome to magnolia!’, a worried frown upon his face. hyrule was a vast kingdom, one that was home to many small towns, but he can’t recall ever so much as hearing about one named magnolia. of course, with the state of his memories, it wasn’t a guarantee such a place didn’t exist, but he thought himself more sure of it than that. weapons strung across his back, he holds up his sheikah slate, hoping against hope that it would be able to tell him something about this place.

velvet slowed her steps, looking at the other with a confused face. the weapons on their back kept the faunas from going over that way. there hadn’t been a threat in town, which she was thankful for, and she wanted it to stay that way. after the fall, this was the most peaceful place she had ended up. casting a glance around the area, velvet looked back towards the stranger.

″ what was wrong with purgatory that made it bad⁇  ″ velvet asked the other, her head tilting to the side and her ears standing up. ″ this place is pretty great. nicer than beacon is right now, or at least i think it’s still destroyed. ″  a frown grew on her face as one ear slowly falling down.

         “ not that i’m complaining exactly… ” leorio says tentatively to the person near him, “ but is it supposed to be THAT easy for someone to be hired as a doctor here in magnolia ?? or are they just that understaffed ?? because i won’t lie: that’s a little alarming. & weird. ” or maybe he is just very qualified ? who even knows at this point. 

″ that is strange. ″ the faunus muttered before looking at them. ″ did something happen that they need help? ″ a frown moved over her lips. she had been here a while and hadn’t seen anything strange. ″ are you a doctor⁇ ″
