I've been thinking about picking out some scenes from the show to insert Bender into. So far, I've only done a shitty doodle of him at Jinx's little tea party, but I wanna do a few more. I like thinking about how he would react to certain situations in the show. (Feel free to recommend some scenes in the comments if there are any you'd like to see Bender in)

I like to think he started tagging along with the group from a pretty young age because anytime they went out, he threatened to snitch to Vander unless they let him go. A lot of times, when they were on the run, he probably had to rely on Claggor to give him piggybacks so he wouldn't get caught by enforcers when he inevitably ran out of breath. Ironically, this exact scenario probably happened while they were stealing inhalers for him.

Powder and Bender were probably exceptionally close when they were kids, likely bonding over being the "weakest links," and both having to deal with Mylo's constant bullying. I imagine Jinx is pretty attached to Bender later on in life for a multitude of reasons. Mainly because of their shared experiences as the weak kids, and also because Jinx enjoys being the "brave big sister who protects her little sibling" because she's larping as Vi or smth idk

I don't plan on killing Bender off because I'm attached to him, but if he did have a canon death, it would probably happen either during Jinx's tea party or during the final battle in season 2. I don't think I've got the heart to do that, though. Especially because I plan for him and Ekko to be very close, and I don't wanna take away Ekko's friend and his situationship on the same day.

Bender's family dynamics are kinda fucked when you think about it because imagine your dad tries to drown your other dad, so he raises you alone with 4 other kids. Then your adopted sister slimes your dad, you get taken in by your other dad, your adopted sister steals him from you, then slimes him too. Then, your og dad pulls up as a dog. And your adopted sister slimes him again.

After all that, bro highkey still hangs out with Jinx and Vi until the end because he genuinely doesn't have anything better to do 🥀💔

He also just sucks at picking hobbies. He loves doing parkour and playing with fire. He's an asthmatic. Neither of those hobbies blends well with his shitty lungs. He likes to play guitar, but lowkey sucks at it, so Silco used to tweak out every time he heard him playing that wretched shit.

Silco's goons either like him or hate him, idk...I feel like they're kinda split down the middle. Some of them probably like him purely because he's not as feral as Jinx, but some of them probably hate him because he's kinda stupid and wimpy.

Bender and Jinx having matching braids is special to me. He probably got his braid because he saw Silco braiding Jinx's hair and was like, "What about ME?" He was joking, but Silco thought he was fr and started braiding his hair for him all the time, and Bender just never had the heart to tell him he wasn't serious

Anyway, that's it. For now...I have other stuff to say, but this post is getting pretty long. I might do a part 2 later if anybody is interested. Bye, people

Just now realizing I never posted my Ezra x Luke ship kids.

This is the Og drawing of them that I drew sometime last year? Allegedly? I can't remember.

Then I drew this one just now before bed. It's just a lazy doodle because I realized it's been a long time since I've drawn them.

Mek takes after Ezra a lot, with a strong connection to animals. But he's a little scared of them. Unlike Hen, who loves animals, but they don't usually feel the same about him….

Their loth cat is named Soup. It loves Mek, but Hen always ends up snatching it and carrying it around.

Marshall Mancini, my guy of little guys and the longest, probably horrific history (in my mind) ever. One of my oldest ocs dating back to the great 2019, tragic.

There has been... lots... and lots... and lots of reworks made of him.

What did stay was his love for paperwork, his caffeine addiction, and the crabbiness to last a lifetime.

One of my first drawings of this guy ever was my first ever drawing on procreate! Honestly, it was kinda crazy-

Then his weird redesign of like... what... 2023? Then again, it did spark the whole Mossblin project again.

He was actually just a random ass oc made for whenever me & @viva-la-runaway used to roleplay with, stuck into whatever fandoms we hyperfixated in. Like I think we shipped him with either Medic or Sniper from TF2 once 😭

That era was crazy.

Now this man has extensive, angsty lore! Yippee!

Though, I don't know if you guys could tell, in the first picture with his ref sheet, he actually got his skin toned a little darker!

That is because he is from Paldea, but for the region Mossblin, there is lack of sun but the paler look was just so hard to render with and it just didn't fit well. So the new, new redesign will also incorporate the same colors!

He also has a partner! Owned by @beelivableflop -! I need to draw them- the brain worm has been there and it's been hard to release those thoughts as of late. I'm trying to get back in the swing if things, hopefully!

Boone, Beau, and Wren

Some facts about Boone:

- Boone plays hockey. He met his boyfriend, Nikolai, that way, who’s on the same team as him.

- He got the scar on his head when Beau threw a rock at his head when they were kids.

- Boone and Beau are twins. Boone is a few minutes older and isn't afraid to exercise his role as the “oldest” and “leader of the pack.”

- He gaslights/ragebaits Eduardo FREQUENTLY. He fake dated Laurel’s daughter for a year straight just to piss Eduardo off.

- Boone finds Eduardo’s anger issues funny, but he is scared shitless of Ell. She doesn't get angry often, so when she does, he knows he's really in trouble.

Some facts about Beau:

- Beau keeps his bangs long because he has horrible forehead acne, which is caused by his bangs being on his face.

- He loves to wrestle. He used to be part of the school's wrestling team, but Ell made him stop after he got a concussion.

- Secretly writes poetry to Honey, whom he is hopelessly in love with. He even let her dye his bangs.

- He keeps sneaking out with Boone and stealing Eduardo’s work truck to hang out at the park with their friends.

- Both the boys know Spanish, but Beau knows it better than Boone.

Some facts about Wren:

- If you couldn't tell from her outfit, Wren is obsessed with the weather. She loves movies like Twister and Geostorm, and loves watching the weather channel.

- She makes kites by hand with Ell and will spend hours testing them out in the backyard.

- Wren owns a small, portable radio that Eduardo gave her as a birthday gift. She doesn't go anywhere without it and loves lying in the grass, listening to music until she's called inside for dinner.

- She has a good relationship with her brothers—especially Boone, who takes her to the park to play on the swings every day.

- Eduardo braids her hair for her. She knows how to braid her hair herself, but always wants him to do it for her.

Marshall

Some facts about Marshall:

- Marshall has a strong love for Halloween and all things spooky. Matt and Marcy like to call him “their little vampire”. Though Marcy also calls him “Marshmallow.”

- Despite his love for scary stuff, Marshall is actually a huge scaredy cat. Unfortunately, Marcy has experienced many sleepless nights because Marshall will come into their room and tell Matt he saw a monster and then they'll both be scared.

- He is THE mommy’s boy. Every time Marcy leaves without telling them where she's going, the house erupts into chaos because he and Matt assume she's abandoned them.

- He has a black cat named “Freddy Fazbear” but they usually just call him Fred/Freddy because he says “ Freddy Fazbear is scary”

- He owns a giant collection of Goosebumps books and owns every issue of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Some facts about Mimi:

- Mimi is BEYOND spoiled. Mark makes good money and can't say no to his daughter, so she gets whatever she wants.

- She does beauty pageants and has quite the collection of trophies and sashes.

- She loves collecting flowers and pretty rocks, usually getting her expensive dresses dirty and driving Matilda up the wall.

- While she is close with her mom, she's definitely a daddy’s girl. She's very interested in his job as a lawyer and wants to be a “beautiful lawyer, oh, and also a model” when she grows up.

- Her favorite movie is Legally Blonde.

Tia and Agnes

Some facts about Tia:

- Tia is a very competitive girl. She's very serious about winning and will never back down from a challenge. But this doesn't stop her from being a good sport.

- She loves to play games, more specifically, board games. But any game will do.

- She’s a bit of an introvert. She has specific groups she enjoys hanging out with, but she prefers spending her time at home, watching reality tv with her mother.

- Tia loves to play with her little sister. They'd play at the park all day if their parents would let them.

- Tom gave her his childhood teddy bear, expecting her to give it to Agnes when she was born, buuuut she still isn't ready to part with it.

Some facts about Agnes:

- Agnes is obsessed with her big sister. Tia is Agnes’s biggest inspiration. But she still can't wrap her head around how to play most of her sister's board games.

- In general, Agnes is quite the copycat. Sometimes, Tom and Tori have to work to see if she really likes something or if she's copying someone.

- Agnes can't sleep unless Tom plays his bass for her or Tori sings her to sleep.

- Her REAL favorite things are playing hopscotch, eating Oreos with Tom, watching Bluey, and coloring.

- She has a bad habit of sneaking into the living room at night to watch cartoons.

BONUS! Honey

Technically, Paul and Pat aren’t part of this challenge, but I still wanted to include them lol.

Some facts about Honey:

- Honey’s actual name is Malou. Pat came up with Honey as a nickname, and it kinda just stuck.

- She enjoys making jewelry.

- She gets along well with the other soldiers within the Red Army, especially Tord, who acts somewhat like an older brother to her.

- Honey dyes her own hair. She once dyed Paul's hair in his sleep and would’ve been grounded if Pat wasn't so fond of the color she had chosen.

- She wants to be a hairstylist and often begs her friends to let her practice on their hair.

I want to apologize in advance because the first few parts of this are gonna be straight ships lmaooo. (other than paupat). I wanted to do a specific set of ships first because they were the first ships I attached to as a kid. I promise you'll get your Cola Losers and TamTori eventually... As always, I'm open to answering questions about the characters. :)

These are some of the sketches I have done for the challenge. I'm just trying to get sketches done first, then I'll color them and stuff.
