Stopped beating for 3 whole seconds. Twice.

My heart was feeling somewhat strange, it's been a long, hot day, and I decided to record. I did some light exercise, although it was abnormally slow and forceful compared to its usual pace, barely ~120 bpm, before I laid down flay on my back

My heart really didn't like that. After hard skip, it completely stopped in my chest for 3 whole seconds, pumped out two weak beats, then stopped still once again. After this, it kickstarted itself back into rhythm, though continued beating hard for the rest of the clip.

What kind of things does your heart react to, attraction wise?

By "attraction wise" do you mean how my heart reacts to people, things, ideas, etc. that I'm attracted to? If so, then I'd say I sort of wear my heart on my sleeve (I've used that joke far too many times at this point lol) with how it loves to show exactly what I'm thinking. When I'm attracted to something, say, thinking about someone I have feelings for, it acts exactly as you might think in a cliché romance story, pounding and racing with emotion.

Now, when thinking about a more raw form of emotion, a purely physical attraction to someone, I'd actually say it actually reacts a little bit less. It may still pick up speed, making those thoughts known, but I think I really equate attractiveness more with a person than a type.

What I mean to say is, I really don't have a "type", just that my type reflects the person whom I may be into at a given moment, y'know?

I guess I sort of went a little off-topic with this response, but this blog is my own little mind dump so I can do what I want lol. Thanks for the ask!

When you think about it, it really makes sense how people of that past attributed thoughts, feelings, and emotions to the heart, an organ who's only purpose is to simply pump blood.

There aren't many other tells of exactly what a person might be thinking aside from a heart racing for no other good reason.

Now that you mention it, I don't believe I ever made an official post in celebration of reaching 500 followers. 500 is such an unbelievable amount, so I think you are all due for an extra special recording. Here's my heart on full display, racing after some light cardio, pumping out of my chest for all to see. Towards the end, I even try for some reactions with a couple pushes.

Unfortunately, the audio kinda sucks in the first half of the recording, although I think this time, the visuals more than make up for it. 🫀

The other day, after a couple glasses of wine, I thought it'd be fun to conduct an experiment to see how my heart would react after cooking for a while in a hot bath. As you may have guessed, it reacted quite well to both. In this first clip, my heart is beating at rest after two glasses of wine.

Do you have a stenmoscope (sp)? Its like a little white disc, and you can record your heartbeat with it. I think you can hook it up to bluetooth, too. So you could get it to play on your speaker-if you have one.

Yes, I do. Recently, I have recorded a majority of my videos with the Stemoscope II. The way it works, is you connect it through the app, and from there you can listen, record, etc. with it. The only issue is that the bluetooth connection is proprietary, so you can ONLY connect the bluetooth through the app, not simply though a normal bluetooth connection. I suppose I might be able to connect a bluetooth speaker to my phone ( assuming both connections can work at the same time ), although, with the phone already playing out the audio from the Stemoscope aloud, I don't really have much a reason to do so. I haven't had the need quite yet of hearing my heart blaring deafeningly out of a speaker lol. //======================================

How would you feel about somebody’s mouth on your pounding apex. Your heart visible, each contraction putting on a show. They are tasting every beat, feeling its force on their tongue. Feeling is speed up and stumble at all the love and attention it’s getting. And after toying with it for a while, planting a little kiss on it and resting their ear on your chest. Listening as your heart slowly calms down.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I have ever given the idea much thought. Their lips planted right where my pulse is most easily felt, experiencing every racing beat and excited stumble punch against their mouth with how much my heart is loving the attention. Afterwards, a romantic kiss before being lulled, their ear pressed against my heart as it calms itself. Maybe I'll have to do a little more thinking on that in the future? I most definitely do, although your wording might be a little inaccurate for my heart. See, from what I've noticed, most people with a visible heart tend to have a small space, right between their fourth of fifth rib, where you can see their chest wall pulse along with each pump of their heart, however, mine is a bit bigger than that. My visible "spot", that entire space, extends from right above my 3rd rib to just below my sixth. While you can certainly palpate around with your fingers, I'd say its much better suited to be felt with your entire hand, being the perfect size to feel it wholly push against your palm.

And that's just at rest. Whenever it's racing after exercise, or for whatever reason as it so likes to do, It starts to shake a large portion of my chest with every beat. I guess I'd best describe the feeling as a fist inside my chest pushing forcefully though my ribs and into your pressed palm.

Well, as much as I enjoy writing on this blog, I wouldn't say I'm much good at writing stories. Thinking up a whole a setting and everything, and most importantly, making it compelling, that's not quite my forte lol. Now, if I had something to work with... I could certainly give it a shot.

To be clear, this is absolutely an open invitation for anyone to leave me some ideas in my Asks. If you could give me an idea, circumstance, setting, whatever, I'd be glad to try my hand at continuing it. Put me in a situation, my heart specifically I suppose. Tell me what, why, and how my heart's reacting to it. ( Not that it has to be my heart in question, although that's most of write I've written thus far ). I've seen many of those type of ask response stories on this site, and they ALWAYS end up being so good! //======================================

Yesterday at work, the A/C was not working quite as well as I'd like it to. With mid 90s temps ( maybe low 80s inside ), along with a cup of coffee or two, it really had my heart pounding in my chest.

Honestly, its one of my favorite parts about sharing my heart with the community. I mentioned before in a previous post about how amazing a 24/7 heart live feed would be, an implanted microphone nestled right against my heart to observe and record every single beat, and this is just about as close as I'll ever reasonably get. While it may, unfortunately, not be live, the thought that any day, at any moment, someone could be listening in, is such a raw thrill. Constantly, completely unbeknownst to me, my heart could be having a virtual examination. Its speed, whether fast or slow, its regularity ( or lack thereof ), every aspect of its each and every pump being closely monitored.

I'd be strange if that idea didn't make my heart race from time to time.
