If you've ever appreciated my posts about LGBTQ issues, this Pride month, as a favor to me, please do something to help my friend Fadel ( @fadel-dani ).
Fadel is multiply disabled. He has thalassemia, a blood disorder, which leaves him incredibly fatigued. The medication he needs costs €400 every month. He has also been in a very serious accident that left his leg paralyzed for a long time, and now he walks with great difficulty.
Over 550 days ago, Fadel's family home was bombed and he was left with iron shrapnel embedded in his body. The medical infrastructure in Gaza has been decimated and he needs to get to a better-resourced hospital to get them surgically removed safely.
He cannot sleep at night because any movement while asleep causes the shrapnel in his body to move, and causes extremely severe pain. He suffers from PTSD, chronic pain, and insomnia from the bombing.
The people of Gaza, Fadel's family included, are going through a severe famine now. They struggle to afford food, let alone his medication. He urgently needs to raise funds for food, medication, travel costs to get to a hospital who can perform surgery, and ultimately for his family to escape this genocide.
Fadel has spent his very limited energy building relationships with strangers in the hopes that enough of us can help him to raise the money he needs. His campaign is vetted by @gazavetters list (#197), @90-ghost, and @a-shade-of-blue.

The reason why Pegglin is far weaker than her brother (and maybe the average piglin) is because she has chronic fatigue syndrome. To make up for her inability to perform combat herself, she opts to put her focus on intelligence; making her far more tactical than Brettus.
Endie's pupils dilate similar to a cat's: big, full pupils for happiness and skinny pupils when he is threatened or angry.
Spider would be a daredevil student; pulling stunts and tricks to further highlight his webbing abilities. I also imagine he'd be a bit cocky!
Maggie and Skellington would be baking buddies! Her love for eating and his passion for culinary could make for a lovely duo. Maggie's cloning abilities would be a great help in the kitchen (and she gets taste tester privilege)!
Eyad is living in horrible circumstances and fear in Gaza, but even with his own suffering, he takes the time to work with Ever Mile to feed the hungry in Gaza. Because of the high food prices in Gaza they rely on donations to fund their charitable work. Now with Israel expanding the military operations in Gaza, his work will become much more difficult, but more important than ever.

My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.
The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.
I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.

a month after my new friend lobana (@lobana2001) got her bachelor's in english translation, israel's bloodthirsty attacks on gaza began. she also recently became an aunt to baby aziz. it should be a time of celebration for her, but, instead, she lives in a tent with the rest of her family and is forced to worry about whether her newborn nephew will stay warm enough as winter settles in.
her sister (nahariya) and her husband biggest problem should be baby aziz teething, not if they can afford to feed both themselves and the baby--if they can afford anything at all.
mohammed should be continuing his studies in computer science, but his university was destroyed.
mamdouh should be able to devote his complete attention to his studies in medicine in egypt, but, with his family trapped in gaza, how can he?
luqman (16) and asim (14) should be learning who they are, making new friends and good memories, and finding their place in the world. bayna (4) and aziz (infant) shouldn't have to know fear at all!
and that's not to mention the parents, naseem and reem, who are under unimaginable levels of stress trying to help their children through this literal nightmare.
