Genderliar / Fauxgender . . .
A genderliar is someone who regularly lies about their gender. They may have an actual gender they identify as or none at all. They may also lie about their assigned sex at birth.
A genderliar may lie about their gender for multiple reasons;
1. They don’t think you have a right to know what they identify as. This could be because they don’t trust you, they don’t think anyone has the right to know in general or it’s a personal topic for them.
2. They think it’s fun to lie about it
3. It benefits or protects them in some form.
4. They’re not quite sure their gender identity as it could be complex or they haven’t ever felt right with any gender label and so just used them all so it often feels like they’re lying to people and so they’ve decided to embrace their “lie”
Let this be clear, genderlairs don’t maliciously lie and this flag should not be used in defence of lying where it could put someone in danger or to trick them into a relationship where gender attraction plays a role.
Femgenderliar / Fauxfem . . .
Femgenderliar is someone who prefers to lie often about having a female/feminine gender. They may have an actual gender they identify as or none at all. They may also lie about their assigned sex at birth.
Mascgenderliar / Fauxmasc . . .
Mascgenderliar is someone who prefers to lie often about having a male/masculine gender. They may have an actual gender they identify as or none at all. They may also lie about their assigned sex at birth.
