It's been ten years tonight since I got to hug my dad and see my dad. When I say 10 years, I can't believe it's been that long, because I still remember that night so vividly. But when I think of all the things that have happened since he's been gone, I realize it really has been that long. As I sit here looking at pictures, I get to see that wonderful smile and twinkle in his eye. And I'm reminded of his laugh, his gentle demeanor, his voice and especially his unconditional love. I'm so lucky to have had for my dad. I'm crying now, but they are both happy tears and sad tears. I know he is proud of me and looks after me. I miss you! I love you dad! In honor of both my dad and the Utah Jazz, I wanted to post these pictures...My dad loved the Jazz and he would love to see how well they are doing right now. Just look how happy he is in these pictures. And they are taken when he wasn't feeling very well at all. I thank the Jazz (and my mom) for the jersey they gave us honoring my dad.
