I've been commissioned by one of my dearest friends to paint a wolf. She spends time with them in a reserve.
I finish it days ago, but i wanted her to have the first look on this aquarelle. I'm so happy and relieved she loves it !

A still life to change my mind. Pears and grapes.
This one is a repro of a little oil painted by Maurice Cuny.
Maurice was a friend of my mother's family. He worked as a designer at LA SLAVIA, a french beer (which has been bought and liquidated by Heineken, victim of competition) and as a caricaturist at L'UNION, a french newspaper. He was the first mentor of young Jean Cabut too.
Jean Cabut, best known as CABU, was an illustrator and famous cartoonist. He has been murdered by terrorists in the office of CHARLIE HEBDO.
Now, everybody (my grandparents, Maurice, his wife and Cabu) are burried in the same cemetery...
Floating woman.
just to fill the time at work... i promise, i stay professional.
Tribute to Koji Suzuki, who died last week.
My last aquarelle... i wanted to try very soft colors, and well, it was harder than i believe. Hard to make my colors with so much water, hard to mask some outlines.
But it was fun too, to see the volumes appear with an economy of means. I really learn a lot with this series.
I wanted something clear, but i had some difficulties with the fur.
Another cutie of the forest...
A squirrel my kids believed it was a rabbit without the colors...
Looking back at my watercolor portraits, i wonder why the people often seems more worried, aged than on the original photos.
Maybe a feature of my personnality i can't hide ?
So... here is an animal. I was drawn by the warmth of the colors...
Aquarelle with white acrylic, after photo.
Kathrine Shepard, aka Sylvaine. I painted this one listening to her album NOVA.
I am really happy to welcome the two first newborn lambs of the flock that lives around my house, they are too cute !
To change a bit, a watercolor...
(Not sure it changes a lot...)
Gathering of several photos and many modifications as for the light...
Ink and gouache.
After a photo i changed a lot (arm position, hairstyle, patterns of the yukata...)
Little scribblings in my sketchbook. The koala is a plush i found at work.
I finally did it !
Pew, so many hours of work.
I hope you like it and you enjoyed the little work in progress ! I still don't know what will come after, but i pray it will be easier. Maybe a sexy lady, hey, what do you think ?
