There's a free(!) Heikala exhibition in Helsinki, at Galleria Frida Gallery. It's a walking distance from the central. If you don't want to walk, take a tram 10 to Ullanlinna direction from in front of Sokos and jump off at Johanneksenkirkko stop. It's open only for a week and Heikala herself is there. You can buy Heikala's art and prints and merch.
i haven't done non-crochet art in a hot second so i decided to challenge myself to an art study of one of my favorite heikala pieces!!
and of course i had to make it undertale fanart ❤️
it was definitely a good challenge for me because not only do i not usually use a lot of color when i draw (color theory is HARD guys) but this was also my first time trying digital watercolor!!! all in all i think this is a good starting point for me and i'll just have to keep at it and get better with time 💪 i am pretty happy with how the lineart turned out though i love love love inking after a sketch!!!
i even!!!! learned that procreate has a speedpaint setting!!!!!!!! so here's a soundless speedpaint i'm still figuring out how to put music to video

My second entry!! This is new years 2023! I spent it with my boyfriend and some other friends at a pub in kingston, a cover band played that night and it was also the first time I met my boyfriend’s parents and stayed at his!
I think I was trying to go for a kinda gold glimmery theme but, again I didn’t have a great amount of scrap to include, though I fit in a broken choker I liked a lot and I try to make use of anything space related as my partner loves space.
