6th step : finishings.

I added leaves without outlines to give a little relief (and because my green was jealous not being on the panel, always listen when inanimated objects are talking to you !).

Then, i put the varnish to protect the wood panel (chalk paint doesn't need to be protected, it's strong enough, and i like the soft touch of it, but i don't want the wood to become grey).

Until october 14th, you all have the time to find a recipe for a cake (with carrots and hunny, please) and to take a deep deep breath to blow (pooh !) the 100 candles of Christopher Robin's friends !

For the little story, i believed for a looooong time that pooh was just another way to say bear cub ! 😅

I took the illustration from a Disney calendar.

A now, a dilemma : where will i put this panel ?

5th step. I put shadows and eyes with indian ink.

Happily, this kind of paint grips and holds ink pretty well, but it means there's no way back but sanding once again the panel, which i must confess wasn't an option ! 😅

4th step : contourings. When Alice has colored outlines, it's just black for this crew. I used indian ink, crossing my fingers it will not follow the patterns of the wood...
